This is a small diner that has been here for years. We stopped for breakfast and were very pleased with the food and service. My only complaint is they are a bit pricey, we had eggs sausage hash browns and coffee and it was $19.00 for 2 of us.
Because of our late arrival at the Hampton Inn we chose to have Subway in our room. Subway was quite busy but service was fast and friendly.

We got out of church on Sunday and as we were traveling saw the Forum was very busy and decided to try it.They had a special that was called the Mixed Grill Platter. The platter had an 8 oz. Rib Eye, Chopped Steak,Grilled Chicken Breast, a Grilled Pork Chop, Potato, Veggies and a Salad for just over $20.00. It fed the three of use and we had meat left over. It was probably the best meal we had on our vacation. I'm sure they don't always have this special, but the menu has a lot of good sounding items. If we are ever there again we would want to return.

After our experience, we were a bit surprised to read some of the recent reviews. Our visit was very pleasant. The facility is a typical Applebee's; clean, well-maintained, with a casual family ambiance. The host was welcoming and humerous; and our server was friendly and attentive. We all had the cedar plank lemon chicken; and all enjoyed the selection. It was very flavorful, with a nice melding of tastes. This is not haute cuisine; but seems a solid option for finding a decent meal at a reasonable price.

Food is always good. Good service especially when Mikki is our waitress. They always seat me near the buffet because I'm on crutches.
Made our first visit to this new restaurant. They have nicely redecorated an old building across from the courthouse. I had the pork tenderloin with smashed potatoes and vegetables. Pretty good but not great. Pork was a little dry. Spouse had stuffed chicken and veggies. We had crepe brûlée and chocolate mousse for dessert. Both were good. There is a fairly limited menu. But definitely the most upscale dining in Cville.

We stopped in for a lunch with some good friends/relatives (who really like this restaurant); and had a very pleasant experience. The facility is a typical Cracker Barrel; clean, well-maintained, with the standard down-home country ambiance. The country store entrance & exit has the usual clothing, souvenirs and temptations (we do like their carmel corn). Our server, Morgan, was friendly and attentive. Between the four of us, we had the French dip, fried shrimp, fried chicken and meatloaf; with an assortment of sides. A shared banana pudding also completed two of our meals.Everyone enjoyed their selections, and everyone agreed it was "good food--good company".Overall, this was a usual (for us) Cracker Barrel experience; nothing fancy, just decent food at a reasonable price.

Excited to try this place after reading reviews but we were disappointed. Cheese curds were good and we would recommend them. The spinach dip had literally no flavor. The burgers were average. None of us had alcohol but our bill was over $50. Definitely willing to pay that for lunch for a really good meal but this was not it. Service was friendly

We were charmed by Creekside. We sat on the back patio overlooking the creek. We were kept dry when it rained and charmed by the fireflies and frogs croaking. Our waitress was good. The wine and beer options are limited but we found options to our liking. The salads were good; mine was enormous. My husband enjoyed his prime rib. Reasonable prices. Lovely cabin-in-the-woods experience.
