We were invited to a 90th birthday celebration at the pelican grill. They have lovely valet parking and the grounds around the grill are beautiful. This was a private party and everything was impeccable. The table settings, the service, and especially the food. We had a choices that were all excellent. There was a beat salad that was beautiful as well as delicious. For the main course we chose sea bass. I am willing to admit it was the best I ever had. If the regular menu is as good as this was. I would definitely try the pelican Grill. Thank you for celebrating with us at Pelican Grill! I'm glad to share that both the beet salad and Chilean Sea Bass are on Pelican Grill's regular menu, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you again soon!Warm regards, Tom Donovan Managing Director, The Resort at Pelican Hill

My wife, 10year old granddaughter and I had dinner at Summer House. The dining area is full of charm and good cheer. Drinks are great. The Margarita Ultima is the ultimate. Service was friendly and efficient. I had a burger to die for, perfectly prepared and huge.Could barely finish it. My wife had the fish tacos, which she thoroughly enjoyed. My granddaughter was content with her chicken fingers. A very pleasant evening in a very pleasant restaurant. Try it, you will like it.

Five Crowns, a charming replica of one of England's oldest country inns and a Corona del Mar landmark, offers warm hospitality and cozy fireplaces set among authentic antiques and period paintings. Enjoy the sunlit Greenhouse and colorful English garden a
Steak house with signature prime rib, fish or chicken. Very friendly & professional servers that make you feel like a guest. Originally built as a home, it was later converted into an Inn with bedrooms upstairs. Interesting history going back to 1936 with a secret gambling & and âunsavory behaviorâ in the bedrooms. It soon became a hideaway for Hollywood stars and their playmates. In 1965 it was opened by Lawry's co-founder Walter Van de Kamp.

American Cooking with a Southwestern Flavor.
I just love this place and it has become an annual tradition to celebrate a birthday with a best friend. The staff is friendly welcome and accommodating. The food is awesome especially the corn bread. The chicken is what they are famous for but you can enjoy anything on the menu and be thrilled. Make sure to save room for dessert. The Oreo cookie mud pie is a treat and the banana dessert hits the mark for sure.

If you are a fan of the stark minimalist trend then this is the spot for you. Gone is the tropical vibe we lived replaced by white plastic. Very noisy and bright. Good music however. And the food is excellent. Maybe better for lunch than a romantic dinner! Use to be one of our local favorites.l but not so much now!

You have to wonder where the Hillstone Restaurant Group (Gulfstream, Bandara, Cafe R&D, Houstonâs, Honor Bar, Rutherford Grill, etc.) finds so many clean, well groomed, educated, clear speaking, piercingless, tattooless, fresh scrubbed young people to work in their establishments. The food is amazing, but I find it fascinating to watch these beautiful, polite, energetic, young men and women, and doing so renews my faith in the younger generation. My hat is off to Hillstone for teaching these young folks and helping them along their way in life.

Straight from the farmers market, the season's freshest flavors come together to create a farm-to-fork experience.
We regularly visit Roger's Gardens for shopping for plants and unique items in their shops, but have never stopped in to their restaurant until this visit. It is a fun environment with a great staff. The "Farm to Table" cuisine is very nice and the setting is wonderful among all the beautiful plants of the gardens. They have a very nice area for special events like parties and weddings.

We are local little spots that have became one of Orange County's favorites for elevated comfort food. We are just-off-the-beaten-path restaurants that are low key yet deliver a BIG gastronomical punch with our dishes that combine American comfort food wi
One food adventurer and one less so wandered into this place just off of Newport Blvd on 18th street. They had something for both of us at breakfast, I had the "Fried Egg" and expected the items to come deconstructed on the plate...nope they were stacked but it was good. My friend had regular food and the potatoes looked sort of bland being so lightly cooked. I would go again and try some other items on the menu. Keep up the good cooking and pleasant service. Think about adding some sound proofing on the ceiling please.
