Reviews on American food in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, United States. Conshohocken (/ˌkɒnʃəˈhɒkən/ kon-shə-HOK-ən; Lenape: Kanshihakink) is a borough on the Schuylkill River in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in suburban Philadelphia. Historically a large mill town and industrial and manufacturing center, after the decline of industry in recent years Conshohocken has developed into a center of riverfront commercial and residential development. In the regional slang, it is sometimes referred to by the colloquial nickname Conshy (/ˈkɒnʃi/ KON-shee). The name "Conshohocken" comes from the Unami language, from either Kanshi'hak'ing, meaning "Elegant-ground- place", or, more likely, Chottschinschu'hak'ing, which means "Big-trough-ground-place" or "Large-bowl-ground-place", referring to the big bend in the Tulpe'hanna (Turtle River, or modern Schuylkill River).

Service was good. Staff very friendly. The fresh well made guacamole was served with perfectly salted warm Tostitos which I think were homemade. We had panko encrusted strip steak which was excellent. That was served with sautéed spinach and some potato wedges. My carbonara was deeply rich and satisfying. A little piece of toast or something would have been nice though. The waiter did say the noodles were homemade. My mates had a local beer which they enjoyed. I like the island bar. It would be fun to go with friends and hang out there. The menu was intriguing and as I passed several tables, I was wishing that I had ordered all their dishes as well (a good sign). A nice little neighborhood restaurant.

Went here for dinner with my daughter while visiting Villanova. The decor and atmosphere are fitting for its name. Feels like your on a boat. Food was ok. Itâs like seafood-themed pub food. Definitely a bit heavy for me, but tasted good. Service was very good though. Very friendly, quick service.

Another good dining experience at Stella. Food is consistently good here. I got the chicken and sausage, wife got filet, the other couple got scallops and chicken rollatini. All we're very good and portions were generous. The scallops were cooked perfectly. We also got the grilled romaine and tomato bisque soup for appetizer. Again very good. The price is fair and in the range for this area. Service was excellent. I would recommend reservations as the place is small. It can get a little loud but again nothing out of the ordinary.

Only challenge was very loud and a bit difficult to hear over bar crowd, Would recommend, entres were good, especially the black bean burger and pulled pork sandwich. Manager was resonsive when one entre was not quite right.

FWOT consistently provides excellence in their food and caring service. They've always gone the extra mile which is why this is my first choice in restaurants considering my Mom and her dietary concerns. Most recently, an employee brought Mom a room temperature bottle of water because the water in the cases was too cold, for her. I wish the staff could hear her rave about the quality of the food. I look forward to bringing her back "for the first time" again. Thank you FWOT!!! You'll always have my business.

The menu is ambitious pasta to barbecue. It is pleasant to sit outside, as we did. The food sounded great from the menu but it just was a miss. I had the burger and the description was great but I thought it was dry and not cooked as I like. My friend had a salad which was average. The portions were adequate. There is a large bar inside and it appears to have multiple levels but we did not explore. The server was good. I would try again maybe an off day.But not a destination to drive to

As all the servers work together, so there is tremendous service throughout the evening. The food is very good. Even though the tables are very close together, you donât feel like your privacy is compromised. The portions are just right in size. I wouldnât rank it #1 in Consha, but it worth a visit. Expensive but BYOB.

Lucky Dog Gastropub ReviewWent on a Saturday evening for date night. The bar and dining area are nicely separated and the dining space was warmly decorated and not too brightly lit. In addition, there were no big screen TVs scattered throughout the dining area (much appreciated); only amusing âclassicâ dog portraits. I ordered a daily special smoked duck appetizer in a crispy, spring roll-type wrap that smelled incredible and tasted even better! Since I was rather hungry I ordered their âSamson Burgerâ with smoked gouda and andouille sausage. I can count on one hand the number of times I had to leave part of a burger, unfinished, on my plate: This was one of those times. Big and delicious is an understatement. My date (who had been here before) ordered the spicy fried chicken sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it (she was able to finish it :) ). Even though the place was packed, service was above average. Both the manager and the co-owner (her husband is the head chef) stopped by the table to make sure all was well and I informed both that this is my new favorite place. Oh, regarding beer: A multitude of choices and even a few I was not familiar with.

We arrived on an early sunday evening to enjoy Fayette Grille's prix fix meal. In short, I expected more, in line with their prior years excellence. What we found is higher prices, smaller portions and choices in each category which could use upgrading. Service was excellent.

The StoneRose Restaurant strives to be Conshohocken's destination for inspired cuisine focusing on the bounty of quality seasonal ingredients right from our backyard in southeastern Pennsylvania. In addition to our lunch and dinner menus, we offer a beer
The menu is unique, and all the foods we tried were super good. There is a nice wine list, and the servers were excellent. We were glad to have been given an outside table, as the restaurant itself was SO loud with customers and no good autistics that we would not have been able to eat inside. The inside would be great for a squabbling couple, as you couldnât hear what your partner was saying. Thank you for your review. We hope you'll join us again soon! Cheers!
