A Mr Fables knock off for those of us raised on MrFables. Besides a large menu of just abiut everything, including outstanding desserts. Onion Rings are the best anywhere. We brought in a group of 8 and the service was correct and reasonably fast.

Our menu reflects classic English dishes that have been influenced by the days of the British colonies in India; where colonists learned to appreciate the many spices and curries that soon worked their way back to England and onto the supper tables. So si
We have drive by this place for 7 years and never realized it was there. Finally stopped in and are glad we did. It is a pub type atmosphere, with friendly service and pretty good food. The prices are commensurate with the quantity and quality. Our only real complaint was that my wife's bloody mary was not great, but with a little doctoring, we got it to OK. We will be back.

Forgot to use the call ahead seating (awesome feature) , but we were able to walk right into the bar area and sit at a booth. We both had the Filet Mignon and Lobster. The lobster was so tender, so was the steak, could almost cut it with your fork. So flavorful! The bread and salad were good too. My sweet potato was good, but I ordered it without cinnamon and they forgot to leave it off. (first time they didn't remember)Had the Aussie Rum Punch, YUM!

I had a great brunch here a week ago with some friends. There was a bit of a wait but that's not unexpected on a weekend. The service was efficient but could've been a tad friendlier. Our server was all business and more about speed than socializing. Normally I'd agree but she seemed a bit abrupt. We got our food quickly and it was fantastic. Four women had four very different things and all of us were very happy with the food. We also took baked goods back for breakfast the next day which were also delicious. If I'm ever back in Grand Rapids, I'd love to return.

Lucy's Café is the Creston neighborhood family café offering breakfast, lunch and baked goods. Bloody mary and mimosa bar on Saturday and Sundays.
The Irish soda bread and biscuits were both very good. They both come with butter and jam. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. An order of biscuits comes with two. The soda bread was one piece. My total for both was about $8. Parking on both sides of the building is available.

Butcher's Union is one of several good restaurants clustered together in Grand Rapids West Side neighborhood. It's casual and rustic interior felt very welcoming.I was seated in what reminded me of a European style courtyard, with it's exposed ceiling. Perfect on a nice summer evening. As you might expect from the restaurant's name, the menu has some serious meat dishes, that included a variety of steak cuts. There's also a few seafood dishes, along with soups, salads and sharable starters. Several items caught my attention including the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf and Beef Stroganoff. The dish I chose was the Butter Roasted Salmon with lemon caper baby shrimp. It was a real winner. The Salmon was perfectly cooked and flavorful, as was the shrimp. A Chocolate Pot De Cream for dessert completed my meal. Portions are good and prices are mid to high. Butcher's Union has a full bar, I went old school and ordered a Stroh's beer. Wonderful staff. Can't say enough about the service I received. If you're driving, you'll most likely have to pay for parking. No too expensive.I wish I had this Butcher in my neighborhood. A really enjoyable meal.

Dinner this evening was lasagna with bread and salad included. The lasagna was very good as expected as well as the salad with the Italian dressing. My wife had the corned beef sandwich which she said was right up with the best she has had. Shared the brownie dessert and that was just more comfort food. Service was excellent.

Itâs been 8-10 years since our last supper. Still good food and great service. I had the chicken stir fry, one had the four piece chicken (4 large pieces), and two had the pot roast. Their rolls have always been terrific. If there was one draw back, the carrots in the pot roast were hard. Itâs like they werenât cooked.

Was pleasantly surprised by their $7 lunch specials which include half a sandwich and a soup and both were great. I had a turkey Reuben and their cheeseburger soup and my friend the pulled pork and similar soup, very tasty. Beer of course was really the main course and they naturally have a great selection, their Gold was my go to. Service was prompt during a busy lunch hour too. Only disappointment was the pretzel appetizer was essentially burnt and blah tasting, otherwise a good, affordable lunch.

I came here with a group of girlfriends and although itâs a nice location and atmosphere, the food took a very long time and though it was beautifully presented, we all left very hungry. Also, there was a baloney olive loaf slice on the charcuterie board. The drinks were decent but none of us will come back.Thank you for taking the time to review Linear. It is unfortunate to hear that you did not have the best experience. Sorry for the confusion on the mortadela. It is a fine Italian charcuterie meat, not baloney. Some of our food is lighter and some more substantial. If you choose to come back, we would love to have you try some more filling dishes. Your server would be happy to share those options with you.
