Columbia is a census-designated place in Howard County, Maryland, United States, and is one of the principal cities of the Baltimore metropolitan area. It is a planned community consisting of 10 self-contained villages. It began with the idea that a city could enhance its residents' quality of life. Creator and developer James W. Rouse saw the new community in terms of human values, rather than merely economics and engineering. Opened in 1967, Columbia was intended to not only eliminate the inconveniences of then-current subdivision design, but also eliminate racial, religious, and class segregation.

The Corner Stable is a family owned and operated restaurant serving our famous "fall off the bone" baby back ribs and colossal lump crab cakes, among many other things (make sure you give our seasonal menus a try!). We have over 40 different, constantly r
The last time we were in here, the sandwich had been pulled from the menu, but Mike in the bar said we can still make it, and did. Then I received a reply from Marja A the GM, who said again it can still be made. Well this time I was told it couldn't, apparently from low sales. It is a shame, because it was one of the best sandwiches I had ever had and the only thing I ordered on our many trips here. It looks like I was the only one ordering it. Moving on, our waitress in the bar recommended the Little Red and it turned out to be pretty good with tender brisket and little fat. My wife's salmon was good and well as the rest of the party's crab cake and pulled pork sandwich. Nice happy hour with $2 off beers and the young lady running the bar on this busy Friday was outstanding.Thank you for your review, I will be sure to share this with Nicole (the bartender that night)! We actually can still make the Big Bad Wolf and I am sorry that you were told we couldn't. Do you mind reaching out to me at [email protected], so I can get a little more detail about your visist? Thanks!

Situated between Washington and Baltimore, overlooking Lake Kittamaqundi, Clyde's of Columbia is perfectly situated for good times. Clyde's location attracts nearby shoppers, Merriweather Post Pavilion visitors, businesspeople and families for its great f
Three of us visited Clyde's together - we were looking for good food, pleasant service, and easy parking. We found all three. For parking, there is a parking garage tonight across the street as well as a small lot nearby. For food, we tried the scallops and the crab cake. Both yummy! Dessert - the chocolate mousse, nice and light. Our server had a fun dry sense of humor which we enjoyed, and we were able to chat in peace for quite awhile (a Tuesday night).

Dinner at the Ale House was very good. My grilled salmon BLT was excellent. The bread was nicely toasted without being too crusty. The salmon was nicely grilled without being dry. The bacon and greens were crisp. The herb aioli brought it all together to make an excellent sandwich.

We had not dined here for a very long time and were reminded how great it was when we had dinner with friends last week. A lovely setting and table on the porch made for a pleasant evening. The menu has many choices. The food was excellent, nice cocktails and pleasant and attentive service. So like the great restaurants of days gone by. Prices were reasonable and entrees were classic. We really enjoyed the veal margarita. Soup and the Caprese salad were likewise outstanding. Food was fresh, not over seasoned and portions ample. Honestly, we were so pleased with everything that we plan to go back again soon. It is located in a neighborhood in Columbia not far from DC or BWI. Free parking. So much to like. And they allow you to linger. This would be a nice spot for celebrations too - birthday or anniversary.

Victoria Gastro Pub offers a warm, inviting pub atmosphere that serves sophisticated, yet unpretentious food. The main objective of our kitchen is to serve innovative twists on classic pub fare that stress quality and freshness with every recipe, and ever
Very nice facility with enough space between tables to make conversations easy. Rooms have enough sound deadening material to keep the customer roar way down. Food was delivered in a reasonable time and delivered hot. Presentation was good for the most part but my Victoria Eggs Benedict wasn't at all what I expected. Instead of a plate with individual items, it was more like a spinach salad with the eggs and other ingredients tossed on top. I'll probably go again but order something different.

Dinner at Leelynn's was surprising good. My wife enjoyed the steak salad. My salmon imperial was excellent. The fish was cooked just right. Tender and moist. The imperial sauce was a little over powering to me but it had a good taste. The accompanying asparagus was excellent: it wasn't overcooked and wasn't stringy at all. Thanks for the great review! So happy you enjoyed your food. Next time you can always ask for the sauce on the side. Our kitchen is always willing to accommodate our customers!

The service at Seasons 52 is always good. Their food is fresh and the servers never try to over sell. The best part of eating here is that you can actually have dessert. Their "mini indulges" are served in a shot glass so you get just the right amount of sweet and don't feel deprived!

I call Iron Bridge Wine company a hidden gem because of how it's tucked on the far side of Ellicott City MD. First of all, this restaurant is sort of nestled in a semi-residential area - way off the mainstream. If you don't know it's there you'd literally drive past it. However, once you discover this gem of a restaurant, it will quickly become one of your faves. Not only do we go there for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and days like mother's and Father's Day, we also just pop on occasionally to have a glass of wine and an appetizer at the bar. Iron Bridge is a wine bar first. They have literally hundreds of bottles of wine available for you to pick from; Whatever your drinking pleasure, they've got it. Next comes the food. Let me just say that I've never been disappointed by anything I've eaten at Iron Bridge. Go to meals include the scallops, mussels and then there is the pork belly appetizer. The pork belly will be on my last supper meal menu for sure. Except for the dishes I mentioned, entrees on the menu changes all the time based on the head chef's whimsy; not a bad thing at all as he's usually spot on. A word of caution though, make a reservation before you go. This place, even the bar, fills up quickly and patrons don't like to leave because it's such a fun place. Regardless of the day of the week, make a reservation or you may miss out on an amazing dining experience.Dear Destination Life, We are so grateful for your review! Thank you for taking the time to share this delightful account of your experiences. We are greatly honored by your praise and your willingness to share it with the dining community. We hope you will continue to make us part of your traditions and your everyday life. Our goal is to make you a part of our family and make you feel welcome every single time. With Sincere Appreciation,The Iron Bridge Family

At Stanford Grill, food is our passion. Our commitment to ensuring you enjoy your dining experience is illustrated in our approach to the menu. Every day, our chefs handpick the freshest produce. Our chef-inspired dishes are made to order and prepared in
Prime rib arrived un-warm. After complaining, they "warmed" it - probably microwaved it from the appearance, texture, and flavor. Edible; unexcitingly bland. The "special" mashed potatoes - were they garlic - were also cool and had a strange, un-inviting flavor. This is the SECOND Stanford Grill that I've been to with poor attention to timely serving of hot and flavorful food. Waiter was usually timely but yelled his description of foods. Maybe he was fighting the noise? He did make up for the cold main course by not charging for two deserts. Key lime pie? Forget it. Bread pudding was good w/ the sauce provided. We're so sorry to hear we disappointed you. We appreciate your patronage and that you took the time to leave your feedback. We are fully committed to the absolute satisfaction of our guests, and will take the appropriate steps to resolve the issue. Please contact our general manager, Thomas Kaiser, at your convenience at (410) 312-0445 or share your email and/or phone number, so that we may apologize directly and learn more details.
