Thanks to Bring Fido, we found this establishment. We had just spent time at the beach with the pooch and were seeking a dog-friendly place with outdoors eating, and we hit the jackpot. Nice selection of burgers, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods. My blue cheese and bacon burger was outstanding. We even bought a key lime pie to take back to the hotel for dessert. Not to be forgotten, they kindly brought water out for the dog.
We know our Shipley donuts and these are not the real thing. Shipleys are light and airy. These were heavy, greasy and raw in the middle. We always buy a dozen for now and later. We spent over ten dollars and threw them away at our next stop. Totally disappointed.

This place is crazy. We stopped in for a bite one night because it was the only thing open. Wings and beers were both tasty and fresh, but something was amuck with the atmosphere. There were several folks in there that repeatedly indicated they were carrying weapons. As we waited for our check, there appeared to be a confrontation in the parking lot outside. By the time we had paid our tab, three police cars had arrived - lights flashing and sirens blaring - to break up whatever disturbance had taken place. As folks filed back into the restaurant, lots of conversations were centered around what gun each of them had, and who they were going to blast when they saw them next. It's very likely that I will not return to this fine wing establishment.
Authenic Czech recipies. Award winning pigs in a blanket, true kolaches, tea-rings, dinner rolls, colossal cinnamon rolls, and seasonal candies.
They are not like my Czech Grandmothers but they are amazing. The bread to filling ratio is perfect. Excellent taste. I would recommend the sausage and cheese kolache or as some refer to pig in blanket. Theirs is more like a hog n the blanket because they are huge. I love this place.

What i like about D.J.'s, is you can order meat by the half pound. Nothing like a half pound of brisket, with a side of pork, and a side of sausage! Brisket well cooked. This place is much better than the popular Brians. Awesome wood tables too!

The Grape Taste offers something to satisfy every kind of appetite. Enjoy premium wines and gourmet entrees right here in Lake Jackson!
We went here on a Saturday evening for my husbandâs birthday. The wait staff was very attentive and knowledgeable enough about wine that she could answer questions, we ended up each getting a wine flight which I have not seen often so that was really nice. We started with a cheese plate, I got some small plates (Caprese salami and salmon with pesto garlic butter), and my husband got one of the specials (red snapper encrusted with almonds and Parmesan over cheese ravioli with a cilantro hollandaise) and everything was delicious. Thank you so much for taking the time to review us! We're really glad you enjoyed your visit! We hope you will visit us again and try some of the other things on the menu! :)

We live in Lake Jackson. There are lots of restaurants, but this one is reasonably priced and has a wide variety of seafood dishes plus hamburgers and steaks. Fried shrimp are popular here and theirs are as good as any in this community. (Shrimp boats ply
Wow, what a menu.Ordered grilled redfish and 6 large gulf shrimp. Came with seasoned vegetables (my choice), and coleslaw (salad was option).Perfectly cooked and seasoned.Tartar sauce was fabulously tasty.Service was as good as a major 5 Star restaurant. Super is all I can say.The building is an old pizza hut, do not let that fool you. Fantastic choice, great prices, huge selection, outstanding tasty food with great service.

We love delicious food and it is our mission to provide the best dining experience to our customers.
I think the high reviews are a bit misleading. This may be a highly rated restaurant for Lake Jackson, but if you've eaten anywhere outside the county, it's really average, at best. I'm sure the poblano soup is amazing ... but I came here for breakfast with out of town guests, and after being told repeatedly by the waitress that they were "about to stop serving breakfast" (it was about 20 minutes before the end of breakfast), we ordered fairly safe menu items. My out of town guests even joked--"this is a 5-star restaurant in Lake Jackson?" Well, yeah. A little embarrassing. Everything we ordered was okay, but I probably won't be back as the food isn't anything special and the dining space is so large it reminds me of a corporate auditorium, lacking warmth and natural light. I think they just overbuilt the space. I'm sure the poblano soup is excellent, but please know this is not a 5 star restaurant.

I'm not quite sure how Brian's BBQ has received any high level reviews. If this is the best BBQ in Brazoria then the people are deprived of an essential Texas cuisine. I was told that this place was a real treat, but my visit proved that couldn't be further from the truth. The Brisket was so flavorless that no amount of bbq sauce could help. The Ribs were tolerable but dry. The sides were something straight out of a can and the Sweet Tea was mildly sweet. This place is not worth your time, money or calories.

Family owned and committed to fresh homemade comfort cuisine. Screened patio on the lake
Came here because of good TA reviews. We had salads which were good. Our server, Destiney, was fast and wonderful. BUT I had a view of the service counters and watched a plate of chicken and waffles sit 15 minutes (no exaggeration) on the first counter until 3/4 other orders with it were done. Then all of them another 8 minutes before the waitress from the back porch/ lake view room came for them. Unacceptable. I will be back but only if Destiney is my server. Iâm from out of town and have no vested interest in a good report for her, but tonight she was the only server who was on top of her orders.
