This place was hopping on a Wednesday night with take out orders and a steady stream of customers. We had sausage and pepperoni regular pizzas for 4 of us. Really liked the sausage taste in the wood fired oven. Soda, beer, wine available. Also several sandwich options as well.

This eatery never disappoints, from the moment you arrive and are treated like friends until the moment you leave knowing you just ate wonderfully sourced and prepared food. No matter how many times we go, we come away reviewing each dish over and over with delight. These folks continue to deliver a great menu, a warm front of house and a wonderful team of servers.

This beautiful restaurant overlooks Holmes Harbor. Service was very good the night we went, so no complaint there. Husband recommended we share an entree since portions are huge, very rare in a fine dining establishment. We each ordered a salad and shared their chicken piccata as well as a dessert. Husband didn't exaggerate - portions were ginormous - two large chicken breasts and at least two inches of meringue on the lemon tart. Only the salad came in a 'fine-dining' portion. Still, the food was well prepared, and prices for food and wine were very reasonable. They serve cocktails as well. We'll definitely return again.

Stopping in Whidbey Island? One must try out the Penn Cove Shellfish. Their slogan is Fresh from the water, not from the warehouse. The menu at Saltwater is full of Penn Cove Items. We tried the Penn Cove Manila Clams, the Penn Cove Rainier Beer Steamed Mussels (1.5 pounds), the Seafood Boil full of Penn Cove seafood and the Salad Louie's. All the menu items we tried were flavourful and tasty. Our menu items arrived hot, fresh and served with fresh hot bread. The restaurant is small, arrive early or leave your name and wander the shops while you wait for a table. Very busy on a Friday night but well worth the wait!Our server was run off her feet but personable and helpful with menu selections. Awesome!

This is on the main drag of Clinton. If you love a sports bar scene, this place is for you. Specials of the day and sports bar fare. Truly, not my kind of place, but itâs open and close to the ferry.

Looking for a place to take a friend from Florida with a Northwest flavor and this was it!! Worth a ferry trip from Seattle to Clinton on Whidbey Island, and a little drive through the woods (turn east on Crawford from the main highway 525) brings you to a coffee shop of classical Northwest design and coffee from beans roasted on site. You can tell it is a favorite of locals. We had a rich cup of coffee and a freshly baked pastry that was perfect for the occasion. They have a breakfast and lunch menu, also. It is an hour to an hour and a half trip from my house, including the ferry trip, and I'd do that just for a unique place to go for a cup of coffee!

We made reservations for dinner based on reviews read here. They were right on! Prefix dinner and wine pairing. The menu changes weekly. Everything was delicious. Serving is in a large room with long tables on one side and the open kitchen on the other. It was fun to meet new people, watch the chef hard at work, visit with their cat, and savor the food.
