We were nearby trying to visit another local restaurant, but found it wasn't open, so came back to this little hole-in-the-wall. Had a great breakfast (their Cajun goetta is very tasty with just enough kick - put it in an omelette with some gooey cheese, onion, and green pepper and you'll be all set!) with friendly and fast service (although we do admit service can be slow at times, but not this time). We were here shortly after 7 a.m. on a Sunday morning when the place was pretty empty. We drove back by around 9 and saw the place was packed, so definitely early is better if you can swing it.

This place is very interesting to visit. It is not your normal square shaped building. It has many seating areas including outside. Some kinda private dining areas for your table too! The menu has alot of german choices as well as American food. We always get the sirloin, it is seared good & tasty. Two of our group had the bourbon glaze & it was a little too much sauce. More of a bbq flavor, would have been better on the side. The potato pancake, sauerkraut balls & fried pickles were all good! Best part was the german chocolate cake. It was so fresh & moist & a super big piece, enough to share. I will always tell friends about this place it is not the norm.

The best part of the lunch was the fact that there was room for everyone. We came with 12 adults and eight children. All of us were seated quickly and comfortably. We had one waitress for the three tables which caused her to have to use us to pass plates and drinks. She was a little short on patience with us asking for drinks when we were dry, but she was on her own so she did her best with our tables and the other tables she was given. The food is mediocre at best. My âsteakâ sandwich was ground not a cut of meat. The fish was deep fried and had a used grease smell and taste to it. The margarita is in a smaller glass than the water. Just some things to know when you go. This looks and feels like a good place to pound some brews an get a little loose in but not to bring the family for a nice afternoon lunch. It is a swimsuit place or beach place. Perhaps my expectations were not properly set while visiting.

Tonight was our first visit....very happy with the large and varied menu, the food, and the wait staff....only problem I had was the acoustics were not good...open space, open ceiling.....they have windows that open on the golf course and splendid views, as well as dining on the deck. Food was very good, and portions were large. They have a bar (what golf course doesn't?) and specialty drinks. We will be back again....

We stopped by on a Sunday evening. We were promptly seated and our waitress, Amie, was very friendly and helpful with her description of the menu selections. We ordered liver and onions and the hot brown, a restaurant speciality. Both were enjoyed as well as the homemade cream puff. Homemade desserts are a treasure to be enjoyed, in our book. Hi Barbara and David,Thank you for visiting us and leaving a wonderful review! Your feedback is wonderful to read. We are delighted to hear that Amie went above and beyond and that you enjoyed your meals and the cream puff! And we can't agree more - homemade desserts are unbeatable. We hope you'll come again.

My husband and I recently went to lunch here one day. I ordered the lunch enchilada special. They didn't list the price and I guess I should have asked. When they brought out the food, I was shocked at how small the portion was. I had requested extra rice instead of beans and there was barely any rice on the plate. It was also the blandest rice I had ever tasted. When they brought out the bill, I was SHOCKED to see that this very small meal on the "lunch special" cost me $10! This meal, at best, should have cost me around $5 for the amount of food that was brought out. Needless to say, I won't be heading back there anytime soon. I feel I was completely ripped off on this one.

I go to Doris and Sonny's for breakfast. I order the special: 2 eggs, meat, home fries, toast and coffee for $7.25. I don't want the coffee and get a Coke, which I am charged extra for, which is fine. But because I didn't get coffee, instead of 7.25 I get charged $8, PLUS $1.99 for the Coke. So when I asked, I was basically told I had to get coffee-which would have sat there, because I don't drink coffee, to get that price. So for telling them not to bother to bring the coffee I got charged more. It was then explained to me, in a not so nice manner, how "specials" work in restaurants.....Oh and they only take cash.

Went with a large group of women, and...drum roll please...everyone loved it!! Have a monthly griup that dines out. Sometimes a little difficult to find somewhere that pleases everyone at one time. But this place climbed the top of the charts. Homemade to order dinnerâs, including salads sandwiches or full entrées, as well as breakfast items and large selection of desserts. Hometown feeling, but above average decor and cleanliness or a little diner. Always great service, good food, and great atmosphere. Family friendly as well as private meetings, large groups or booth dining. Highly recommend.

Skyline Chili restaurant chain. Famous for secret recipe Cincinnati-style chili & fast, friendly dine-in & drive-thru service. Serving Cheese Coneys, Ways, Greek Salad & more great-tasting food since 1949. Locations in OH, NKY, IN & FL. Grocery products a
We usually go to Skyline every week after church. We get gift cards from Krogers during the 4X fuel points. We tried the extreme habenero cheese on our coneys and we liked it, not too hot! We also like the new crackers.

I had the small Chicken BLT salad. It is one of my favorites. I got the small salad because portions are big in this restaurant. The food is good and the potions are generous making it a great value. This is a place that is frequented by the locals.
