We got off the highway and headed toward Claremont for some lunch. We found taverne on the square, this restaurant is a home run. Very clean restaurant with great great food. Brisket sandwich and the wagyu was perfect. Delicious sides of Mac and cheese fries. Tap beer selection has something for everyone. Donât miss out on the hidden gem. Pricing was extremely affordable for the grade of product delivered. We will be back. Thank you for your review! We hope we have the honor of serving you again soon!

Two of us started with small onion rings, very nice. I had the large turkey grinder with provolone and thousand island, fresh soft grinder roll, very good turkey and provolone, tasty thousand island. A small side container of extra thousand island was seventy-five cents; I am more accustomed to such sides being gratis. My wife had the two chili dog special very good, stuffed with chili, with a large portion of very good sweet potato fries. The clam chowder is a great buy: our friend had the 'cup' of clam chowder. Well, it was not only flat-out excellent but the 'cup' was a full-sized soup bowl and only 3.99, it was a meal in itself. The service was friendly and attentive but slow as was the delivery of the food. It wasn't a terribly long delay but I feel I have to mention it. Balancing this out the total tab for the three of us including three large sodas was only 36 bucks and we ended up taking home many of the sweet potato fries and half the soup. So the portions are large and if you order carefully I am sure you can get two meals out of each entree. We will be back.
Delicious breakfast at prices so low you wonder how they can stay in business! Filling breakfast specials for under $5!We ate there 3 times in the past week. Our new breakfast spot and I can't wait to try their lunch!

My wife and I order Pizza from Daddy's all the time. Our most recent order was excellent. My wife proclaimed that Daddy's Pizza is "to die for!" The sandwiches are great and they have free refills on the fountain drinks. Prices are very, very reasonable. When I moved to Claremont, this was the first restaurant that I visited and I was sold on their food. They also have a great dining room and a family friendly atmosphere. The people who work at Daddy's are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this establishment for good food, good prices, good service and family atmosphere.

Very Friendly Staff! Excellent breakfast. The homefries were super! Asked for crispy and they were perfect. Breakfast Burrito was fresh, wholesome and didn't weigh you down with just beans and rice. Prices were great but CASH ONLY.

A good place to go with friends as lots of room around the table and not a loud place. I had steak tips which were good but would have wished the sauce had been a little thicker. Lots of good mushrooms and onions. Husband had fish and chips which he enjoyed. Waitress was attentive.

My wife and I stopped in for a great sandwich and salad for our low key 41st wedding anniversary. Service and food excellent as always and owner brought us a free desert for our romantic al fresco dinner.

The award-winning The Common Man Restaurant is a feast for the senses â sweeping river views, mouthwatering aroma, vibrant social buzz, and oh â¦the menu! Dig in to fresh-made comfort foods like our home-baked mac ân cheese, our sizzling prime rib or our f
We enjoyed a great dinner in a lovely setting with the Sugar River rushing by the restaurant. The deck overlooking the river wasn't open yet but it would be a perfect place to enjoy a meal. My husband had the pot roast dinner which he said was great. I had the steak tip salad with blue cheese dressing which was very tasty, especially the smoked portabella mushrooms. I was hungry so a little larger serving of steak on top of the salad would have been appreciated. We didn't have time to sample any desserts but the menu looked good.
