The population is 3,162 as of the 2010 census, up from 2,191 in 2000.

Great salad bar but unusual the hard-boiled eggs were served while in a bowl? Large, varied menu and very large proportions. It was clean and the staff was very professional, courteous and efficient. Will definitely go back

Came here with family tonight (Thursday) around 8:10. Seated right away. Waited for 10 minutes and not a soul came by even just to say, hey I'll be with you shortly. Had our appetizer and food picked out. We got up and told the hostess we were leaving because we never had a server come by. She just said sorry about that have a nice night. That's what you get when you have teenagers run a restaurant.

I try to stop by here whenever in or driving through Rockford. This place has been here for many years, and has one of the best salad bars, with soup, prepared salads, just everything and more, and really everything we've had here has been delish! They are known for their prime rib, which is excellent, along with their fried chicken. In fact, everything we see being served to others also looks amazing! The service there is continually excellent. The place is clean, comfortable, spacious, and just a lovely place, with free parking and easy access for all. They also bring fried rolls with honey butter to the table, and those a tasty, as well!

Took my Mom for her 78th birthday and she had the sirloin which was cooked to her liking. My husband also had the sirloin and said it was very good as well. I decided to try the steak kabobs with veggies. Very disappointed since most of the meat was 'fatty' or had lots of very, very chewy parts that made it most unenjoyable. I only had about two bites that were actually good. That will be the last time I order the kabobs.

Previous experiences were favorable, not the case this time. Service was very slow for a week night, they didnât appear to be very busy either. The lettuce in our salads was borderline to serve, presentation was good though. The Jungle Jimâs Jumbalaya was a big disappointment though, it looked and tasted like they pulled it from the freezer (on the plate) and microwaved it to serve. Doubt we will be back to try anything else.

We have been to 5 Forks several times over the last few months - we keep returning due to great food and good service. Innovative dishes, extensive liquor list and reasonable prices are some of the reasons. Not a huge menu, but as stated, innovative...and always good.

Great to return and find some new draft beers and no change in the fabulous bouillabaisse. Friendly staff great wine with a 50% discount monday night for a bottle. The steaks and salads were great and I recommend a visit if your in town.Thank you for the wonderful review! Our bouillabaisse is one of our staples and we are happy to hear you enjoy it so much. You definitely get what you pay for with this one. A little pricey, but fabulous food, selection, specialty mimosas, and customer service!We had several selections apiece, because we couldnât decide. The portions will definitely send you home with a doggy bag, be warned!

Husband and I were in Rockford to meet a friend. We had never been in the city. We tried the restaurant because it was near where we were staying, but went back the next night for a second meal there because it's so good. We had Chicken Marsala that was excellent with highest grade chicken and sauce. The next night I had Chicken Carbonara and Hubs had a flatbread. Our service was great on both nights. The restaurant seems to stay very busy even through the week. Highly recommend this very good place. I can't imagine anyone really being disappointed with what they're served.
