Have been here for breakfast on Sunday on several occasions. Food is solid for breakfast. Nothing fancy, but pretty consistently prepared. Service is slow- they are always understaffed. Takes a long time to get coffee refills, etc. Anoka has limited options for breakfast so it's one of the best places to go, but nothing special.

This was our first time to Mavericks. We had seen the signs for the restaurant and today friends spoke about it having just been there. We decided to give it a try. It looked very busy when we pulled in the parking lot but we found a handicap parking spot easily. We were seated immediately. They were busy, but we were waited on quickly. My husband ordered a beer and I, Ice tea. He had a steak fajita and I had the French Dip Sandwich. The flavor on his fajita was wonderful but the meat was a bit chewy, a bit tough. My French Dip was very tender. I needed to add some salt to the au jus as it was very bland. It came with french fries, pickles, tomato and raw onions. It would have benefited by having some cooked onions. I "stole" some from my husbands fajita and adding that to the French Dip made it fabulous. We will return. Would like to try some of their burgers. I would recommend.

We visited this great little pub on Saturday and had a great time. A parade was scheduled, but was canceled due to weather. It didn't deter the patrons, as everyone was having a great time. The owner came over to the table several times while we were there, checking on us, which was a wonderful touch. Will definitely visit here again. The reuben rolls were delicious.

I love this place and the wings (Thai, Goldrush and Honey Mustard are highly recommended) and pizza are my FAVORITE! Come early as they are ALWAYS busy! Great 2 for 1 Happy Hour, fun place to hang out with friends!

We went to Clives Roadhouse last week for our daughter in laws birthday. We had a very nice waitress who was very attentive. The décor is rather unusual, Greek column in one spot, brickwork in some area's, wood in other spots. Makes for lots to look at and really quite interesting. We went here for lunch because our daughter in law wanted tater tots. She got a huge portion of tots with her burger, and she said it was good. Our son also had a different burger which he said was also good. My husband had, a reuben, which he said was OK. I had the oriental chicken salad, it was good, very different from what I have had at other places, Clives seemed to have more cabbage and other veggies than what I was expecting. They have a variety of beers on tap, so the guys had fun trying to decide what to try.My husband has trouble hearing in some of these type of venues, as they tend to be noisy with the higher ceilings. He said he really didn't have much trouble hearing at Clives. Could be where we were sitting as we were not next to the bar. Interesting place to try, we had fun, service was quick and friendly.I wouldn't mind going back again sometime, but would probably try a different menu item.

Came here just for pancakes for breakfast. They were a little over done but the eggs and bacon were very good. The service provided today by Alice was excellent. This is a hidden gem located in the city of Champlin, been in business since 1999. Great place for local cuisine.

Had a delicious meal at Sparky's. Three people ordered different items from the menu. Each meal was expertly prepared and delicious. Service was great. Glad I ordered the small skillet breakfast. It was more than enough for me. Prices are excellent too

Quaint mom and pop BBQ joint, also featuring burgers , specialty sandwiches and exquisite breakfast on the weekends.
After reading some great reviews, we were very disappointed with the food and the service. The ribs were burned and dried out, nothing special about the pulled pork or brisket, two so-so BBQ sauces to choose from, and our server (JB) was more interested in her phone than serving us. BTW we were the only people in the restaurant. The rest room was dirty and was located several store fronts down, in the back of a Mexican grocery. This is a small local restaurant and we wish we could give it a better review. We won't be going back.

I entertain business clients at The Mad Hatter on occasion and the result of the meal is always improved relationships. Business is always based on some level of "know, like and trust" of the buyer towards the seller. The typical result of entertaining here is that business results from the event.

This place is usually hopping. They don't take reservations but they do have a call ahead option. I would strongly recommend using that. Once seated the service is fantastic. Go HUNGRY! They start by bringing warm buns with some honey butter. They are fantastic. I could fill up on them alone. The good news is they keep bringing them if you ask for more. My husband loves the chicken fried steak. I have tried a number of items (never the steak though) and haven't been disappointed EVER. They also serve cocktails here. Fun place to go to get plenty to eat in a vibrant atmosphere.
