We had been meaning to stop by here for a long time. We finally did on a Saturday mid day. The bartender was great and super knowledagable of the menu and drink items. We had draft beers, bloody mary's and vino. All good. Food items are a great selection of upscale bar food. We are going back for sure and making this our local stop especially for football season.

We usually dont go to Janeys that much, maybe 3-4 times each winter (weâre snowbirds), but we have always enjoyed the musical talent that they bring in! Last night was no exception as they featured some very very good musicians-the TRIO RIO!! We have listened to these guys before and they are GREAT, and fun too! We have waited for WEEKS to go to this function last night! I donât know why, but Janeys featured these guys, AND a Wine t.asting Party at the same time!? The Winos were talking VERY LOUDLY (and getting louder the more they âtastedâ)! I once asked them politely, if they could maybe âtone it downâ a bit, and nearly had to FIGHT MY WAY OUT of the place when one or two young men in their group THREATENED US!!!! Well, a while later, these wine drinkers left, and we began to sit back and to enjoy the music!! Even though it was only about 10 pm, the employees immediately began to MOVE TABLES AND CHAIRS, screeching and banging, WITH THE DOORS FLUNG WIDE OPEN!!! It was more than apparent, that they WANTED US TO LEAVE (perhaps so they could all go home) even though it was advertised that The Trio were playing until 10:30! I know that this is Arizona, but it was very BRISK outside, and I had to ASK them (in a nice way) if they would please close the doors where we were sitting!?? They finally did, but werenât very nice about it! There were only about a DOZEN or more of us customers left by this time anyway! The band only played about 20-30 minutes longer, but we enjoyed it immensely!!! Even though my friends and myself (and wife) have been at this place NUMEROUS TIMES in the past (we live very near here 6 mos a year), i DOUBT that we will ever go back to Janeys again!!?

This place is really quite something. The atmosphere here is quite electric with loud music and fairly decent food with everyone being happy and having a good time. The rodeo was great fun to watch also, if you wanted to you could watch that without paying anything, they mould easily charge an entry fee but donât. I would definitely recommend this to get the full American experience.

In the 1930s, a man with the unlikely name of Johnny Walker built a bar called the Cave Creek Corral. Walkerâs creation was an instant sensation with cowboys, playboys, politicians and laborers who gathered to drink A-1 beers at wooden tables under wanted
I went to this very authentic place with some relatives from Phoenix. The food is good (I have eaten a Filet Mignon), the service very efficient. The staff is very very friendly. And the music extremely good (little bit too loud). You will find a wide variety of people and a very good atmosphere.I will come back for sure.

Big Earls Greasy Eats has become a landmark in Cave Creek, Arizona. We are Located in the heart of Cave Creek I was born in the 1930's and started out as a gas station. In 2002 I blossomed as Big Earls Greasy Eats. When I say "The Last HONEST Hamburger!"
We were in Cave Creek and came across this place looking for somewhere to eat. This is a converted gas station, where you can choose to eat inside (limited) oras we did watching the world go by. You order inside and collect your drinks and payand the food is delivered to your table. All the food is freshly prepared and was delivered hot and was tasty. This is a paper plate disposal cup type place, which makes it a fun place to eat and watch the world go by. As we in London (UK) wouldsay it is not The Ritz, but the food is good and the view is better. Will be back in The Fall

Cartwrightâs Modern Cuisine honors the spirit of Arizonaâs ranching days with rustic yet upscale dining. Located on Saguaro Hill and overlooking Black Mountain and the Sonoran desert foothills, the restaurantâs ambience inside is as captivating as the set
This is a first class service, fantastic food, and chef/owners that care. We did the tasting menu and it was more than could have been expected. The flavors and menu were amazing. The chef personally delivered each dish and explained how it tied back to the local ingredients and wineries. We will be back and you should not pass this up. We highly recommend it!!! Hello and thank you for dining with us as well as taking the time to write a wonderful review! We are so happy to hear how much you enjoyed the Chef's Tasting Menu. If you are looking for a unique Arizona dining experience the Tasting Menu is definitely the way to go as the chef and his team are out foraging for wild, native foods to enhance each plate on the menu daily. Pairing those dishes with wines that come from the same areas seems like the best way to experience all that Cartwright's has to offer. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you again soon.-Cody Heller, Owner

Tonto Bar & Grill is built on a strong foundation that transcends most restaurantsâ missions. Not only do we take great pride in our food, drinks and service â all of which are consistently outstanding â we also aim to preserve Arizonaâs heritage through
Four of us went to the Tonto Bar and Grille for a special Saturday night couples dinner. We took advantage of something called Arizona Restaurant week, Sept.20-29, 2019. We arrived to our early dinner reservation and it was peaceful and quiet. We ate outside, under cover, looking at the beautiful golf course. This is really an extremely nice restaurant & beautiful setting? One couple split a 3 course meal and my wife & I each asked for our own meals. We asked our server when we 1st sat down if each couple could have their own separate bill, and she said âno problem.â I had the pre fixed 3 course $44 restaurant week meal, part of the restaurant week special pricing. For the appetizer, I had a single crab cake served with a special spicy warm delicious sauce on the side. It was great! My main meal was a 6 oz Tenderloin steak, grilled perfectly , a little side of mushrooms, asparagus cooked perfectly and a side of special potatoes. My meal was perfect. The other couple split the exact same thing I had. My wife went with the $44 special pre fixed meal. She had their Tonto house salad, Salmon for her main meal, served on a flat cooked green pepper, and a delicious side of some kind of flavored grain. She loved her dinner too. We all did. My dessert was a wonderful Creme Brûlée that was out of this world. Beautiful to look at as well as delicious to eat. My wife had the Lemon Meringue dessert and she loved it. The alcohol prices were fair. By the time we were done eating, the place got really loud. Our waitress brought over our separate bills and wouldnât you know, all of the other couples drinks were on our bill, which made for the only unpleasantry of the whole dinning experience. Our waitress did eventually untangle the bills and each couple paid accordingly. Parking is free, but a bit of a walk, especially if you are elderly. The parking area is also dark at night, all part of the Dark Sky policy of Cave Creek. We will definitely go back again.
