The Block House Cafe is located in the Dayton First Baptist church constructed in 1886. The church has undergone a sensitive and meticulous restoration with an addition on the back (kitchen). The Block House Cafe serves breakfast and lunch with dinners an
A small historic town, Dayton is a great stop through the Willamette Valley--wine tasting, gorgeous scenery--and the Block House makes Dayton an even better stop! Located in an old church, they serve breakfast and lunch. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. One of our party was gluten free--the waitress made several suggestions about possible food items and substitutions as well as what could not be made gluten free. I had the BLT with avocado added on beautiful multigrain bread. It was the best BLT I've had in a long while, the bacon being tasty and generous. Food is exceedingly fresh. Seating is inside and out with umbrellas for sun control. Would highly recommend!

Amazing fresh breakfast in a hometown diner atmosphere. Waitress was super friendly. We had potatoes covered in cheese and spices with fresh salsa and homemade bread with house jam. So good. Iâve lived here 21 years and I cannot believe I never visited until now. Iâve always heard it was delicious, but I donât usually go out for breakfast. I may have to plan more breakfast dates.

We dined at the Thistle last evening. Loved the smallness of the space, the service was spot on and the food devine. Every dish very creative and perfectly prepared. And loved the fact that the menu changes regularly. Itâs the extra special chef that takes the time to plan and organize to give their guests ever rotating choices.

This restaurant and brew pub is located in lovely McMinnville--the heart of Oregon wine country. I recently had dinner there with friends. I have been there on a number of occasions. The menu is outstanding. The service is professional, which is sometimes unusual for a college town. The servers are attentive but not pushy. They feature numerous homemade appetizers, entrees, etc. The menu is extensive with a large variety of choices. Our server, Jon, was very helpful in all respects, including pointing out favored dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant. There are numerous restaurants in McMinnville, many of which are excellent. However, this restaurant is outstanding because of its reasonable prices and virtually unlimited selections with an extensive wine list, beers and ciders, as well as a full bar.

Crescent Cafe was started in 2007 as a local, family-owned restaurant focused on serving quality breakfast and brunch. We strive to serve the freshest, seasonal ingredients and create a cozy and relaxing atmosphere for our guests. Our bread and pastries a
Very nice place to stop for a sandiwch lunch. My wife's Monte Cristo was right on point, served up hot and delicious and my chicken salad was lovely on the house made bread. Service quick and friendly and we would certainly consider coming back here again.

Really enjoyed our 2 breakfasts at community plate. Fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Definitely recommend!
A wine country favorite! GREAT times and 38 taps of beer, local wine, ciders, craft cocktails & local fare.
I have been several times to for meetings and am greeted with great customer service, fantastic selection of tap beer and other tasty drinks. I have had several of the food options there and by far my favorite is the hummus plate. So yummy! I would highly recommend Carlton coast and tavern to all my friends and family! We will be returning customers! It's great to have such a nice place in our small little town!Kimberly, Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. We're so glad you enjoy the place!

Rustic decor with a decent menu for a local pub; serving local wines a plus. Thursday nights features live music which was ok, but loud, as we were sitting very close to the setup area before they started. Waiter might have warned us. (:

Amazing gas station corner diner/greasy spoon. Food was amazing and a welcome palate cleanser from all the wine. Great stop.

Offering North West wines, artisan cheeses, cured meats, olives, small bites, sandwiches, chocolates, bread and more...for here or to go. Live Music on Friday and Saturday night!
We stopped in for a quick bite between our large breakfast and planned dinner out. The shared plate of 4 different cheeses, salami, bread, green olives and fig jam (dip the manchego cheese in it) really hit the spot. We felt really welcome and well cared for. Glad we got to try it out!
