Visited last weekend on a recoomendation of a relative. We were looking for lunch but they serve only breakfast until 12 August when they will start serving lunch. Anyway the coffe and special omellete of the day were great. A reasonably priced restaurant with a nice waitress. Not fancy and not very big, so you may want to avoid the Sunday Church crowd.

We took a seat after reading the please seat yourself sign. Then watched as we were completely ignored by the three waitresses working there. We watched others putting in their order and receiving their food for 25 minutes. The clean up boy got us our coffee but still no waitress. Finally I left $5 on the table and left. I guess unless you are a regular you donât count. Lost my business

We were on Main st. in Canandaigua on a Friday nite headed for a different spot when we passed Eddie O'Briens and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. Wife ordered the fish fry, at $15 it was a bit pricey. It was quite good except for the coleslaw. While not as bad as Tom Wahls it was in the bottom 3rd of our experience. I ordered the Cubano which was loaded and quite good. Our server was very attentive bringing xtra napkins and keeping our glasses full. We WILL be back.

Relax, taste & enjoy at the Restaurant at New York Kitchen overlooking scenic Canandaigua Lake. It's the perfect spot to gather with friends in a casual setting with indoor and outdoor seating. We offer an innovative and seasonal menu featuring locally so
Our party was really looking forward to dinner, having researched the restaurant and wanting to enjoy regional and seasonal food. The first impression was the restaurant was uncomfortably cold (we were seated indoors) and after donning sweaters and jackets to be comfortable, later discovered the thermostat was set to 64 and so manually bumped up the temp. Other diners in the same room stopped by our table to commiserate about the low temp and to thank us for making it more confortabile. Our sever was kind and attentive, but we soon learned she had little control over what came out of the bar and out of the kitchen, and worse of all, no control over the timing. Long story short, we received our entrees almost two hours after arriving at the restaurant. The hamburgers were cooked unevenly, one pizza arrived without any sauce, the other was inedibly salty. The crab cakes were low on crab and high on fillers and generally uninspiring. Overall quality of the food was mediocre (best thing we ate was the buffalo cauliflower appetizer). Canât recommend this restaurant. We will not be going back.

Nolans on Canandaigua Lake: 726 South Main Street, Canandaigua. Located on the northern shores of Canandaigua Lake, we proudly offer a menu that features Certified Angus Beef, Seafood, and Pasta. Drink selections include Finger Lakes wines, locally brewed
The new restaurant is beautiful. Our group of 8 was seated on the outside patio which we did not request nor were asked about. It was quite breezy and our party (including elderly people) was freezing/uncomfortable. The dinner rolls were hard, could not cut with a knife. The server was excellent, personable and efficient. The menu is quite varied with a great selection for just about anyone. About half of us liked our selected meals. The tomato sauce was watery and had an odd taste, perhaps a seasoning we're not familiar with. The lamb was undercooked when asked for medium-well. The server knew it was someone's birthday yet no special attention (a cupcake with a candle perhaps?) was offered - that was disappointing. It is pricy overall.

Our sandwiches (Italian and ham) were just average. Service was fine and friendly. Prices were high. The restaurant was uncomfortably noisy. Hard surfaces everywhere amplified the noise of piped in music, kitchen sounds, customer conversations, and many screaming kids (don't know why their parents or restaurant staff put up with it). We don't recommend it.fbglove, We encourage a family experience at our deli and welcome families with children to eat and enjoy our atmosphere. Sorry that you found it noisy and that you felt that your sandwiches were just average. We are very proud of the product we build and hopefully you can try us again and hopefully there will be no screaming kids.

A full service, "polished casual" restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. Beer, wine, specialty coffees & frozen drinks, served year round! We take the mystery out of crepes by fusing a French Canadian crepe, family traditions and America
We happened into this place on a whim while shopping in town. I'm so glad we did. I'm gluten free so I opted for the creme brulee oatmeal. OMG it was wonderful. Perfect oatmeal with sliced bananas, custard, and maple sugar glaze with fresh fruit on top. It's a bit pricey for oatmeal but so worth it. They do offer gluten free crepes made with buckwheat flour for an extra charge. When we got there I let the host - who was also apparently the owner- know we had an appointment in an hour. He sent our server right over. Family members had strawberry crepes and turkey bacon lettuce and avocado crepe. Everyone was happily impressed. Food was delicious. Server was quick and personable. We will definitely return.

We were in town visiting a new brewery and we wanted to get dinner. I looked at trip advisor and scanned the top 20 options. I looked at the menu here and it looked pretty good. But the name of the restaurant almost made me go someplace else. We went here and the parking lot was full. We went on to get a table and the hostess told us 20 minutes for a table. We went to the bar and got a drink. The bartender was a very friendly guy. He asked us our names and started conversation with us, seemed like a nice guy. We were seated and they had a clip board of specials for the night and their regular menu. They have a great variety of food and they are not shy about the portion sizes. We started with the card cake appetizer and it was excellent. The sauce they use is great. My wife ordered the gnocchi special with beef tips. I ordered the beef rib special that comes with Mac &cheese and cole slaw. My wife loved her meal. I tried it and it was very good. My meal was excellent. Everything was great and what a huge portion. Here is the kicker, it was only 14.99. Yep, 14.99 for 3 beef ribs and a large portion of homemade mac&chesse and cole slaw. Our waiter was very good too. He said he has worked there for 5 years. Nice guy and you could tell he has been a waiter for awhile. We will be returning here.
