We are a neighborhood gathering place for good food, good beer, and good company. Bring the kids, bring the dog!
Our food and drinks were delicious. They serve beer and wine only. Our server was friendly and our food was served quickly. They have a large selection of beer to choose from ! Thanks for the review! Please tell us how we can earn 4 stars, we are always looking to improve!

We liked Shellyâs so much yesterday we had to eat here again today! My wife had the Denver scramble which was roughly the size of Denver Colorado. Besides it being a substantial portion the quality was high with fresh ingredients professionally cooked. I enjoyed a smaller gut buster which was true to name. Today was biscuits and gravy. The coffee is tasty and served in classic diner mugs. My favorite! Of the two pics shared the jar of red is fresh freezer strawberry jam. It was a highlight of the experience. The staff is attentive and funny. Letâs see if we come again tomorrow!!

Tasty food, great beer selection. Their menu is a bit more adventurous than their sibling pub in West Seattle - âThe Bridge.â Service is great, especially on nights when Kate is working. They are a worthy addition to the resurgence of downtown Burien.

If you want brunch, this is the place to go. The menu items offer a great balance between breakfasty and lunchy food. Be aware that portions are on the large size. I recommend the Monte Cristo, which is basically brunch in a sandwich. Smarty Pants does it up well. We were impressed that the staff was friendly and relaxed, even on a busy day.

Wife and I went for breakfast with our son recently .. Attractive building .. nicely decorated.. hostess found a table quickly .. service was quick and efficient. Ordered 3 different breakfasts .. waffles with whipped cream. Eggs scrambled and over easy with shredded hash browns and bacon. All orders met our expectations and more.. hash browns crispy as well as bacon.. waffles warm with huckleberry sauce. Attentive waitress .. checking on us and refilling our water/teas. Breakfast was good enough for us to come back the next day .. We would recommend for couples and families.

The Cafe, has been a well known breakfast place in Burien for over 50 years! It's been the Countryside Cafe for the last 5 and were working on the next 50! Breakfast and Lunch. A tasty greasy spoon with good portions, ingredients and price!
From the outside this place is not impressive, but from the long lines out the door, you know its good. They have some variety, but they also have old standards. I love their waffles, and the biscuits with strawberry jam is perfect. I also frequently get the hash which is satisfying.

First time here. Strip center ambiance. But donât let the location fool you. They fried the fish in Panko (crispy) or beer battered (liked this better). Good portion but not huge. I had the cod, salmon halibut combo. All good but the breading did not stick well on the halibut. Fries were coated and tasty. The coleslaw was ok and did have golden raisins ( just a few). Companions had shrimp and clam strips and some jalapeño tarter sauce which was available along side a good regular tarter sauce. We did not get the fish tacos (3) but they looked amazing. We noted that there were several well known restaurants nearby. Go to Burien.

I've eaten a couple of time at the Tim Room. Both times the menu is diverse, the food well prepared, and the wait staff accommodating. The second time we brought a dog with us thinking it was acceptable. The waitress helped us by making a special accommodation so that we didn't have to leave the dog in the car. I wouldn't take a dog again because it was an exception. The also have a small attached theatre for both live performances and movies.

Looking for a good place to eat, we ended up at 909 Coffee and Wine based on some of the reviews on Tripadvisor. It was a Saturday night and we didn't have a reservation, but we sat at the bar and it was only about a 10 minute wait for a table. There was live music that evening which added to the ambiance. The food we ordered was delicious, but it certainly isn't a place to go if you are expecting large portions. Among the four of us, we ordered the Bacon Wrapped Dates, A Seasonal Green Salad, Chicken Crepes, Linguine and their special of the day, Spinach Ravioli. All of the items were delicious, but a couple of people felt it wasn't enough food. One surprise was they charge for bread ($1.50 per person) whereas most restaurants provide that free when you order an entree. Still, if you are looking for very well prepared, tasty food, it's worth a try.

We arrived for lunch on a weekday. There was outdoor seating as well as indoor. We chose indoor seating and got a nice booth in a more private area. The server was pleasant and efficient. The food was good. The best part is that there is a "senior menu" for both lunch and supper, and the prices are very reasonable. A good recommendation from me!
