Great chef who is there in the summer (works in Miami the rest of the year). His menu is exciting. Starting the a shrimp martini appetizer, churrasco steak dinner and homemade fruit pies for dessert, this place is an amazing find out in the forest. Great
Went for an awesome horse back ride in the Big Horn Mountains with Laura as our wrangler. She was very knowledgeable about the mountains and flowers. Rode for 2 hours, crossing the creek twice, and to the top of a ridge looking out over Cloud Peak Wilderness. Horses were in great shape, barn and area clean.Ate lunch at the restaurant and had the Prime Rib sandwich, suggested by Laura, and the Pulled Pork Sandwich. The cook came out to let us taste the "Carolina BBQ sauce" to be sure we liked it before he put it on the pork. He came back later to be sure everything was ok. Great food and rustic atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend them to anyone passing through the Big Horn Mountains on Hwy 16.
We stopped for supper here. The waitress was very friendly, took our drink orders and when she came back, we ordered our food. Fifty minutes later, the food arrived! The place was busy, but........Talked to the waitress and she compâd us our drinks. So, canât really complain, but fifty minutes for fajitas, is just too long a wait. Food was great, beer was excellent (ten sleeps beer), service was great. You see where Iâm going here.Kitchen needs to get a wee bit more organized.Recommend, but barely

We went for breakfast after walking past this restaurant the night before, and being intrigued by the "cash only" sign and low prices. And low they were! And the food was good - I had the special (eggs and Canadian bacon omlette, with hashbrowns, toast and coffee) and having seen it served to others, told the server that I didn't need the hashbrowns, as there was plenty of food without. Tasty, too. We got there when they were busy, and the order took a while to come, but it was worth it.

Place was empty but had to wait ages for service, one pizza was nice the smaller one was dried up with meagre toppings. Couldn't be bothered to complain as we didn't want to wait for another to be cooked.

Weâve been twice and the food is OK. Our steaks really werenât exceptional like at other steak houses weâve been to. However, if youâre a fan of Longmire, the TV show, thereâs plenty of memorabilia peppering the lobby area. Quite a few souvenirs you can buy too.

This was an authentic western cafe. The decor makes you think you are in the late 1800's. The service was excellent, food very tasty, portions large and price reasonable. When we were there there were even "cowboys" having breakfast, 10 gallon hats and dressed for the rodeo.

We have several very nice restaurants in our area, and chose the Virginian as the spot to try in Buffalo, Wyoming. The food was good, both the scallops and the Salmon. I would have liked a steak, but they were incredibly expensive! The wait staff also need to recognize that a water glass should never be empty. Finally, it sounded like they were having a lot of fun at the next door saloon. I found my self wistfully looking at the wall wishing I was where the fun was!

located downtown, you don't immediately notice it unless you pay attention that the (very nice) giftshop also has a diner in the back. A very simple place, it serves home made soups and sandwiches that are simply GOOD. Friendly staff, good flavors, proper food. Certainly a place to consider for lunch in Buffalo! So Glad you stopped in and enjoyed your lunch!!

A very cool old cowboy saloon with so much of the original fixtures. Relax and take it all in. Better yet, grab a table on Thursday evening for a local jam session of cowboy-country music. Great fun.

Fine Dining Beneath The Bighorns! Enjoy Beef, Chicken, & Seafood with a Large Selection of Appetizers, Sides, Desserts, & Drinks.
Very popular spot; go early when they open to avoid the rush. Our steaks were tender and cooked just right, and the service personnel were just great. The owner was ever present and circulated amongst the patrons to be sure all were happy. The ambiance was inviting, relaxed, comfortable, and good for casual dress. If there was anything you didn't like, the wait staff was eager to replace with something different; very accommodating folks.
