Welcome to the Alburtis Tavern and LodgeFor over a century, the borough of Alburtis has been known as the hidden gem of Lehigh County. The 2,300 residents, who call the one-square mile home, embrace the future while cherishing the history marked by 100 ye
The Alburtis Tavern serves delicious food from quite a large menu. I usually order the cheddar and bacon potato skins along with a dessert and it's plenty of food to fill me up. The active train tracks outside go along with the train memorabilia that decorates the interior of the tavern. They also have large rooms available to rent for private functions. If you plan to dine here regularly, make sure to sign up for their free rewards card to earn free food.Thank you and see you again!!

At Savory Grille, we believe that fine dining is an experience to be savored often - whether you're celebrating a special day or the everyday! "The first of all considerations is that our meals shall be fun, interwoven with love and congenial talk, leavin
Expecting a "fern bar/grill" experience when we entered, but were quickly charmed. The staff were light-hearted and endearing. They made excellent recommendations off the menu. We started with the Lobster bisque. Husband had the crab cakes much to his delight. I skeptically had Chink of the Woods and it was unbelievable. The service was at time slow and hard to find staff, but you could tell they were busy and running quickly to keep pace. All delicious. The wine choices were good (although one was out of stock). We really left satisfied in all ways. Thanks for the wonderful review, Chicagoehc! We're thrilled your time with us was so fantastic! We strive to offer top-notch service alongside our mouthwatering dishes and your praise lets us know we're doing our job. That's what we like to see! We look forward to hosting you again soon for another amazing experience!Have a beautiful day!Sincerely,Shawn Doyle - Savory Grille

We went here for a casual dinner.......friends had recommended the place.......and when we walked inside their front door, we were bombarded with too much noise for us, so we decided to eat on their patio. A wise decision as it was much quieter out there.A glass of both wine and beer started our evening there........fair prices and an ample pour with the wine.I ordered a Mushroom Swiss Burger (medium-rare request) and that's exactly what I got....perfectly prepared. The side order of French Fries was huge!My spouse tried their California Cheesesteak with Sweet Potato Fries.......both were good. Again, nice portion sizes. The only downfall of the night was slow service......maybe an exceptionally busy night or a shortage of waitstaff? We'll definitely return in the future!

Glasbern perfectly combines farm fresh dining, distinctive lodging, rustic luxury events and a 150 acre working farm. Step out of the ordinary and experience our selection of locally sourced items, gracious hospitality in a restored barn with stone wall,
I hope the folks at Glassbern regard the value of TripAdvisor in addressing guest's point of view. My wife and I, seasoned world travelers, in celebration of our 54th anniversary booked a room using a Groupon discount. We live in the area. Based upon our experience it was a lovely venue and a fine value. Having perused the reviews I suspect that the Inn's management strategy may have been modified to accommodate Glassbern's beliefs concerning the discount guest. If this is so they have mistakenly characterized the Groupon user. It was available; we used it. Why not? If they have dumbed down the menu offerings believing it to be commensurate with their strategy of a broader (discount-driven) audience, perhaps they might be wise to rethink this. They offer a Sunday thru Thursday three-course prix fixe dinner menu ($30 per) that is most unimpressive. We opted for the regular menu and though what we ordered was hardly haute cuisine, it was unusually well executed and satisfying. I believe they forthrightly honor their farm-to-table claim. The room was quite nice, well-appointed, sleep number bed and with hot tub as well. Small fridge, Keurig and microwave, small safe, etc. Cost of overnight stay, $115, including breakfast. Breakfast was, by any standard, really well done. Wonderful variety - a standout menu from Irish oatmeal thru beautifully plated Benedicts (and everything in between). The staff clearly is guest-focused; however it is clear that they are charged with much multi-tasking and though, to a person, each was personable and professional in all regards - they were manifestly harried, flying about in all directions - and truly giving their all in service, in smiles, and in good conscience. There is a sign (I believe it was in the Front Desk area) that mentions the demands on the staff and requests - for want of a better word - forbearance. My wife and I would, without question or pause, return for another stay. Based upon the notations of other TripAdvisor reviewers, we'd likely avoid holidays. I give Glassbern Inn a strong recommendation. If the Groupon is available, do it!

This little tavern is becoming the in place to eat in this rural area.
They have a nice selection of appetizers. Try the pretzel coated mozzarella sticks. There is a large variety of sandwiches. Our favorites have been the cheesesteaks, rubens, burgers and even the grilled cheese is good. There are also a few entrees that have been very good as well. There is outdoor seating in warm weather, and if you have any train lovers.... you get a close up view!

We were headed for home and wanted to stop for breakfast/lunch. Yelp (to the rescue) helped me find the Hometown BB&G - a great choice. The place was HUGE and it had a big crowd. Our 25 minute wait was exactly what we were told when we checked in and it was worth waiting. The menus covered pretty much any sort of breakfast or lunch item that you might want and the service was quick once we were seated. Too bad we don't live closer because we'd certainly be back for more!Thank you for sharing, Linda! We are delighted to hear that you had a wonderful meal with us at The HomeTown Breakfast, Bar & Grill. We're so glad that you loved your meals and service. We aim to please our guests with our warm hospitality and delicious food, so this is fantastic to hear. We'd love to share another positive, fun experience with you in the future. Have a beautiful day!

with all the traveling my husband & I have done, we have never been disappointed with this chain. Good hearty food at a very reasonable price, no long wait to be seated & served and friendly wait staff. The unique nostalgic gift items and candies at the country store are also a plus

Iâm going to try to keep this review shorter than my YELP review. Let me just say that we have been here many times in the past 6 years or so and itâs always been pretty good ,nothing great but typical bar food , appetizers and a good beer selection which my family likes . This time however I believe it has gone down hill and I will not be returning. We had a party of eight , when our dinners came out 4 were wrong ... AHI tuna was supposed to be VERY RARE and was cooked almost all the way through so it was sent back , I ordered a pasta dish with fettuccine and I RECEIVED LINGUINE but I did not send it back ,it was not very good but I didnât even eat it because I was so upset over the next situation...we ordered my grandson a cheeseburger WELL DONE , he received his food as we were straightening out our food problems, he started eating it and got half way through and the middle was RARE ! We specifically ordered it WELL DONE since it was for a child! At this point I flipped out and asked to see the manager so I could tell him how unacceptable it was for the meat to be so undercooked , his response was âIâll take it off your bill, I donât know what else u want me to do about itâ... REALLY ! This is customer service ? They did offer to make another burger but at this point I just wanted out of there . The managers name was Kyle . Iâll never go back for mediocre food again , there r too many other Restaurants to go to . It was the biggest waste of $180 plus I had an awful time because I was worried about my grandson and I continued to worry for the whole week .Hi KelVery unhappy to hear you had a poor experience! It appears as if you are a great customer and I ask you to please reach out to me at [email protected] at your earliest convenience.

Whether dining alone or with family and friends, you will always have the best seat in the house. Comfortable chairs and large tables give you plenty of room to relax and enjoy your food. Starlite Diner makes a great location for a business lunch or meeti
Great food and excellent service in a nice and clean and friendly atmosphere. We had crab cakes (best we ever had), fried haddock dinner, salmon dinner, fish and fries, and spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was well done and tasty. Salad bar had nice array of salads (macaroni, red beet, pasta, etc) as well as greens and veggies and a choice of 3 soups (lobster bisque was great) and breads. All fresh and tasty. The Boston Creme Cake and Cherry Cheesecake were also great. A busy Saturday night and our server was busy and we were seated along the back side of the bar and she was still able to be very attentive to our needs and we did not have to wait long for our food. Very pleasant experience.
