My friend took me there for my birthday a couple weeks ago and we both really enjoyed it! Most of the food is from local people, from the eggs, produce, and the meat. I had the turkey and fried bologna club sandwich and it was really good. My friend really enjoyed her veggie omelet which came with their own home made grilled zucchini bread. Would definitely recommend it!

This place is out in the middle of nowhere but well worth finding! We were greeted by Sasquatch by the door, then by a friendly waitstaff who was also bar tending at the time. She made me a great old fashioned and my husband a great martini. We splurged and ordered their surf and turf - a bit pricey but worth every penny! The rest of the menu looked tempting and we were told the Shepard pie is good and I have no doubt. The lobster was sweet and excellent and the steaks were done perfectly. We also had excellent and fresh salads, a great spinach side, but no room for dessert, although they looked great. Our waitstaff person frequently checked on us to make sure everything was ok and it definitely was. We will be back again for sure!

Established on October 22, 1962 by Jonas and Dolores Saville, making it one of the oldest eating establishments in the area. It has been family-owned and operated ever since, currently by Rita Saville, daughter of the original owners.
I grew up eating family meals at this old time favorite, but hadn't been there in YEARS! Sorry that it took so ling for me to return! Good home-style meals at a reasonable price with wonderful desserts and other baked goods! can't go wrong! CASH only, but an ATM onsite.Thank you, KayLynn!

Cozy is often the word a our new (and regular) customers use to describe our restaurant. Originally built for Carver's Dairy it was converted into a restaurant. The walls and booths in the dining room have wood reclaimed from Boyertown High Schools stadiu
Had breakfast with the family on Sunday morning. The service was good and the food was very good as well. I've been there a few times with all good experiences.

We visited for a birthday celebration during the week with several friends. All of the group visit this place often and enjoy the atmospher and the food. We sat at the bar until the other guest arrived. The bartender was great; very personable. When our guests arrived we moved to a table for 10 which the bartender had set up in advance. The night bartender came in shortly after our move to the table. She started off by talking to her friends for several minutes. She then walked by our table to wait on a table for two. She never acknowlegded our table even though there were three people with empty glasses. At that point we decided to talk to the day time bartender about serving us. She said she would so we tipped her to stay and serve us for our party. I know our 10 people not visiting this establishment at night won't break this place, but our 10 people telling 10 people about our experience with the night bartender and them telling 10 people and so on will hurt their bottom line. I visit this place often and it is a good place to go but I will not go there in the evening again. This is a good place for drinks and the food is always good. I gave the service a 3 star only because of the daytime bartender. If I could I would have given the night bartender a negative number for service.

I can't believe I've been reviewing restaurants on this site for years and missed CD's. Thought I did it years ago. The place is great. Outstanding breakfast with great choices and large portions.Try the Cream Chipped Beef. Don't forget to ask for a shot of home made hot sauce on the side. All there food is delicious. Very small with unusual decor. Great service from a very friendly staff. Wife works Sundays so I head here for breakfast. Sit at the counter, read the paper and talk with friends. Check out their specials. Always something interesting. The owner is usually in the kitchen whipping you up a delicious meal. Takes pride in his work and you can definitely taste it.

Friendly staff. Nice garden setting. We had a tight 4-top. Menu hard to read. Special of the day had reduced pricing and portion size. Bread nothing special. Small portion of butter. Old Fashioned I was served lacked any alcohol. Scallops good. Crab entree lacked taste. Desert selection good. Underwhelming performance folks. No real need to return for pricey, average fare.
