This is our favorite local restaurant! The new chef is a great addition and the staff and owners are always fantastic!!!!! Sunday brunch is as good as a 4 or 6 star hotel!!!!Thank you for your review of our restaurant and for being our first reviewer! We just added this TripAdvisor page so all prior reviews are on the page for the Bluefield Inn. I am very excited by the addition of our new Executive Chef with his wonderful credentials and to be offering fine dining in Mercer County.
Captain D's is great if you happen to like fish and seafood. They have meals for $4.99 that are really filling. I got the fish meal deal which had 2 sides and hush puppies. I am not a big fish eater, but I love the taste of this fish. I have also tried the grilled chicken salad and was quite pleased with the taste and portion.Needless to say, this is fast food, so I would not want it every day, but it does make a tasty treat from time to time.

I spend half my time in Maryland, and half my time in Princeton. I'm here for about a month at a time (Princeton)_ and usually manage to get to Valley Restaurant about twice ped month. You don't get much gourmet frou-frou stuff here. Just comfort food done comfortably. Good vegetable side dish selection. Seldom disappointing, but once in awhile, they don't make their mark. Old fashioned hamburgers are good, daily specials seem to satisfy..Prices are really, really friendly. Portions are good. Smiling staff. If it still hasn't measured up to your idea of a good meal out, order a serving of Pecan Cobbler (yes, pecan.) and top it with ice cream. Try not to blush as you wolf down the whole thing. Don't look ashamed when you leave, either. You're welcome.Don't go here if you're trying to hide. We went last evening, and managed to bump into three separate groups of acquaintances who just happened to b there as well.

This is an old fashioned cafeteria style restaurant of the kind you don't find much anymore, The decor is really dated and charming because of it, the food varies from "school lunch" to really good fish, and the desserts are fun. Staff is friendly and attentive and portions can be huge-or not... This is our go to don't want to cook restaurant because quality and service are consistent and it is a convenient place for those just passing through the area who don't want fast food as it is located in the local mall. Not a romantic, date night, gourmet kind of place but great for kids, grand mas, and hungry travelers.

Ate here for Small Business Saturday with my Son and Son-in-Law. The wings were fantastic and the service was great!

The food is good but the portions seem rather small for the price. If youâre just looking for a light snack this is a great place.

Been wanting to support this place because it is local and Iâve heard good things about it. The food and service were good and there were some different selections. Loaded fries had pimento cheese and jalapeño. I was skeptical but they were good! I had the chicken sandwich. Very pretty place. Parking is a few steps away so you have to walk across the street. Not fast food - but much better.

Old School Diner serving up everything from Fluffy Omelets, Hash Browns, Great Burgers and Fries to T-Bones. Don't forget Dolly's delicious home made desserts.
Not bad but not spectacular. Think glorified Waffle House with regard to the type of food served. Clean with courteous service. No complaints, certainly better than fast food. I am glad you stopped to eat with us. Sorry we couldn't make a better impression on you. We strive to be a good stop for busy travelers and locals alike. Hope we can do better next time.
