The reviews do not match our experience about the food. Kitschy place, OK service, decent price, cash only. Weak diner coffee, hash browns that left a real bad after taste, toast very thin, jams were past their optimum usable time. Our first and last visit.

Great Blue Heron Grill serves up decidedly country club cuisine 3/7 (meals/days). Items are familiar, comfortable, approachable. And prepared fresh daily. Diners will find the flavors subtle and the presentations clean and simple. Whether for a great, qua

Lizzie was the main attraction! She's a lively, fun personality. The place is a museum display of her collection of Betty Boop memorabilia. My wife had the fried clams, of course, and I had other good things to choose from. I got the Friday special, the catfish dinner with fried okra and clam chowder, and I think the Alaskan pollock the second time. Service was prompt, friendly, and entertaining.

Really good Denver Omelet and Sourdough Toast. The potatoes were like eating fried oil, not up to parCoffee good, service sometimes good.

Nice to come back to summer home, find same restaurant, slightly different menu, but same great food. Few patrons inside despite chilly weather because "Elvis" was performing on the back lot stage. But still could enjoy music inside, as doors were left open I ordered my usual Kids meal, fish and chips, as a full order too much for this senior. Appreciate the fact they don't limit kids meals by age, as so many do. Enjoyed the crunchy exterior, flaky fish. Only negative my fries were a bit soggy, and some not entirely cooked through. Cole slaw not heavy with mayo. DH tried something different, the BLT. He enjoyed it had "enough bacon for six". Glad to be back

The best secret here is eating at the bar using the bar menu which is considerably less expensive than the dining room . Still for a couple special occasions we have eaten in the dining room and the steaks are very good or better and they even have snails . We have been very pleased with this restaurant and the service is superb

Breakfast buffet-very high quality! Yummiest eggs!!! Fantastic pastries! Dinners-depending on your waiter, the service was hit or miss! Sometimes drinks were empty for far too long! Food was slow. The food was high quality and the restaurant is super conveniently located on the resort property with an amazing view of the water and sunsets. If you are in no hurry, this restaurant is great! Hello Cplett,We can't help but smile (they're pretty big smiles too) to hear our breakfast won you over and that the quality of our dinner menu impressed! We're very concerned to hear that our service fell a bit short during some of your meals with us. We value your feedback and are looking into this concern right away. When you next visit we plan to wow you with not only our outstanding views but our high standard of service as well.

A great family friendly restaurant with a focus on high quality ingredients and a very courteous staff. Combined with daily specials and multiple rotating taps, it a pleasure to be a guest at Bob's Birch Bay location.
Made reservations for the Easter Sunday brunch service. We were promptly greeted by a number of staff in a most welcoming manner. Well done. Seated even before the reservation time. Our server (Stephanie D) was excellent in explaining processes and attentive during the buffet. Even the servers at the omelette and carving stations were very friendly, welcoming and great attitudes. KUDO's to all the service personnel. The buffet was excellent.Thank you Loren for being our guests and taking the time to share your Easter Sunday brunch experience with the Trip Advisor community. We do our best to make each guest experience a memorable one, thank you for acknowledging the commitment of our entire staff, and the special mention of your server, Stephanie, it is greatly appreciated. On behalf of our entire staff, thank you again for being with us, it will be our sincere pleasure to have you back with us again soon.Respectfully, The Team At Bob's Birch Bay

Very good food. We went at an OFF time for dinner (4pm) and was VERY quiet. Excellent server and was very attentive, (But, beware. . . this is a "bar" type restaurant). I had the Salmon salad. Love the pesto on top. Made for a great dressing. Others in my party had the Cobb salad and Ribs. ALL were excellent.have you tried our breakfast or lunch?sadly, I have pulled the rug on dinner service as there was not enough demand at the time.perhaps I will revisit and reinvent the dinner menu for 2020.John & Kylie and the entire PACC & Bar staff.

Very nice seafood market/restaurant with lots of outdoor seating. Friendly personable service. We only had the fresh dozen oysters which are grown in their nearby farm in Drayton Harbor. They are served traditionally with a nice red wine mignonette.
