Split a full slab of ribs and 2 sides. The meat was well smoked, but a little cool. The slaw and beans were terrific. Our server let us experience several small tastes of their local draft beers so we got exactly the one that suited each of us.Not Kansas City barbeque, but good.
We happened upon this place while staying down the street at the quality Inn. It got a good review and so we thought we would try it. What a pleasant surprise! Itâs a simple place (diner type environment and clean) and the value is amazingly wonderful, the food is homemade and delicious and the staff couldnât have been friendlier. They treated us like family. We even got to meet the owner who is a terrific guy. On the walls they have covered it with baseball memorabilia, sports and car photos from days gone by. The baseballs are even signed by the greats them selves. We couldnât believe what a great value it was â a fair price for really delicious food. We actually had dinner and then made roomfor apple pie that was incredibly scrumptious. I still think about it a month later. We even came back the next morning for Sunday breakfast because they had crepes on special. I would definitely go back again and again. I wish I lived closer!! I hope they do well and stick around because they are a great addition to the neighborhood!
For a franchise, this is one of the better Subway restaurants. The crew there is especially friendly and is game to make you something creative if you ask. It is a little like Cheers, they remember their regular customers and what they get and ask about you when it's been a while since you were in. Really love this place and the crew.

My wife and I recently had occasion to have two dinners at Skyview. The first one we both had meat. I had the prime rib, which was fine, and my wife ordered what was referred to as a Delmonico ribeye. Frankly her steak was poorly prepared, overcooked and rather tasteless. The side dishes were fine... the steak was disappointing. We then attended what was billed as a "Clambake.' The main component of dish was pretty much inedible. The sausage, mussels and corn were ok. The soft shell clams, I believe, were not good - either frozen for too long or spoiled. The shells were broken (a sign of being frozen) and the consistency of the clams was like a mush. The taste was foul. When we complained to our waitress, she told us she checked with the chef and he said we were wrong...If we go back it will be for meat and potatoes. We have no confidence in the culinary skills in the kitchen.

After a day of fishing, friends and I stopped here impulsively. The parking lot was quite crowded, which is a good sign. We were seated promptly; our drink orders were taken quicklly. A friend ordered the Crab Cakes and the waitress told her they were probably not the crab cakes she was used to. Instead of lump crab in the cakes, it was shredded crab. My friend then opted for the fish and chips, which turned out to be a very good choice. I had the Snow Crab Legs special. It would have been nice if my order had an accompanying item like fries or cole slaw, but that was not offered. The Snow Crab legs were quite good. The other friend also had the fish and chips as well and pronounced them delicious. We were quite please with everything about Dan's Clam Shack. Will I return?? Absolutely!!!

Small restaurant chain serving classic breakfast and lunch all day! Train themed decor, outstanding service, and a friendly atmosphere.
We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here. The coffee was decent though a bit weak, oj was very large and tasty, biscuits and gravy very good and enormous, and veggie omelet quite flavorful. Hashbrowns were good but needed salt and plain biscuits were delicious.Awesome! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your visit. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review and feedback! It is much appreciated.
