This reminds me of places around nyc in the 70's when fondue was hot. This is not a cheap place dinner for 2 about $100. Meal was just ok for this money can go to a nice steak or fish house for a far more satisfying mealHi Bert,Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I am wondering if you got a chance to try our filet and sirloin sections, particularly with our Cast Iron Grill, if this might change your opinion. Stopped in for a bite, mainly because I love CHEESE! I mean, who doesn't?!? We were also looking for somewhere that we can stay on a low carb, gluten-free diet and this place had signs offering to accommodate special dietary or allergy restrictions. Be sure to take a number at the deli or at the cheese stand for service! I stood there oogling at the yumminess for a couple minutes before I realized people were calling numbers out. I think the 3 salad sampler for $10.99 is a great deal. They have so many good ones to choose from. There are some small 2 top tables hidden in the back by the wine. Afterward. We headed to the cheese counter to try out some delicious samples.

Service was friendly and efficient. The waitress really added to our dinner.Food was good. I could call it more of a gastropub style.The only negative was that the steak tips (my husband's order) was cool. Not sure why.Would recommend eating here if you are in the area.

This is such a fun place - great for dates, great for friends! The food is fantastic! Many unique items, and many favorites. Drinks are great, as is the service. Go for dinner, put your name on the bowling list while you eat, and your lane will be ready when you are done! And, if you tire of bowling, you can catch a movie in their theater! They have a great outdoor space, with giant jenga, corn hole, and chess. If you want a more private space, you can reserve a private(ish) lane.Erin,Thank you for your review! I had the opportunity to enjoy The Bancroft in Burlington for the first time at a business lunch and was not disappointed. Service was professional and friendly. Meals were promptly served and well prepared/ presented. I had the wedge salad which was served with nice thick bacon slices. Definitely would go back.
