We went around 5:30p on a Sunday (9/22/19) night to enjoy some cocktails on the patio outside the bar. As we approached the front desk, we were told we would have to order our drinks at the bar and bring them ourselves to the patio area. Ditto for any food that we might order. That was a bit odd to us but, no matter, we followed the instructions. Placing the drink order at the two bartender bar seemed like a huge challenge...for the bartenders. They were completely overwhelmed and the male bartender (big hair) was almost useless. After our first drink had been downed, we went in to order food and were told by the bartenders we could NOT order food at the bar and take it to the patio area. So, we approached the main reception desk and spoke to the manager. She respectfully listened to our concerns about what we were told earlier but repeated that we could not order food at the bar for patio consumption. We asked why the change from only an hour earlier to which she had absolutely no response. Very odd. I'm not sure what's going on here but something has changed and not for the better. There is simply too much competition in a 5-10 miles radius for me to waste my time going here anymore. Done.Dear Judge_Smails-BR,I am sorry to hear about your disappointing dining experience at Ninety Acres. It is imperative that we provide exceptional service to all our guests; I am sorry we fell short on this occasion. I would like to take this opportunity to win you back as our guest. Bernards Deli & Cafe great cafe in a small town. good food, service that has been stepped up a notch
I love the Bernards Café! Iâve never had anything but delightful meals here. Most recently, we went for lunch, and it was no exception: great again. I had one of my perennial favorites â French onion soup â to start and a delicious Buffalo chicken sandwich. There are lots of choices, and weâll keep going back.

A nice place to dine with an ample menu and good service. I thought my burger was excellent. My only negative comment, I asked to substitute a side salad for my fries and was not informed that the substitution was $5 extra.

I didn't know quaint little villages like this still existed in suburban New Jersey. A quiet little Railroad Station accommodates passenger trains to NYC so visitors from Manhattan came leave their cars behind and ride right up to the front door of the Stirling. It is no longer a hotel but a neighborhood pub selling short order food & specials. The wooden building in picturesque surroundings is reminiscent of the old West or at least a Jersey of long long ago. I ordered a shaved Prime Rib with cheese sandwich on a club roll. The tasty sandwich contained quality beef for a modest price of $16.95. It came with "home made" potato chips which I did not care for. However, a lot of places are now substituting these chips for fries. They are over cooked and too spicy and my hunch is that they are not "home made" but are all made by the same distributor. Please folks, go back to fries. My wife had a Black Bean Burger which was for Vegans, with chipolte sauce. There were too other guests and our entire lunch with soft drinks only came to $65 for 4 people. The ratio of staff to patrons was high so service was prompt. The Stirling is the perfect spot if you are headed to The Great Swamp National Wildlife Reserve which is a short drive away.

Ate lunch on Saturday. The lobster sandwich for $14.25 was ridiculously small and had no taste. The outside seating area, while nice, had litter on the strip that was bordering the street. One would think that the staff would pick up the garbage, i.e discarded straws, cigarette butts, paper, etc. Before opening every day.

Went here recently with a crowd for drinks and appetizers during happy hour. There is happy hour pricing so that was great. I had the shrimp dumplings...the sauce was very tasty; also tried the chicken nachos that were tasty but I preferred the dumplings and the flatbread pizza that was also decent though I've had better. We had a few tables reserved which was good because it got crowded then thinned out as the hour grew closer to 7 PM. I think maybe the wait staff was understaffed but overall the experience was positive and I would return.

We return to Vine again and again â for lunch and dinner â not because it offers a wonderful array of menu staples and specials, but also because we enjoy the elegant ambience and the attentive service. Everything weâve had â soups, salads, pasta, meats â has been delicious. My favorite entree continues to be the chicken scarpariello. The signature dish features a chicken breast accompanied by sweet sausage, hot cherry peppers and roasted potatoes in marsala wine and balsamic reduction. Vine is not inexpensive, but for a special occasion â or just because you want to treat yourself to a special meal â do try this elegant restaurant. Youâll find yourself returning.

My mother and I arrived early for a mother-daughter Saturday morning breakfast this past weekend. The entire experience was wonderful! We arrived at the dining room of the hotel shortly after it opened, and we were the only patrons. It made the meal even more enjoyable, because it was quiet and serene. Even if there were other diners present, Iâm sure it would still have been an amazing meal. The dining room is beautiful, sunny, and quiet. We were seated at a table next to a window with a lovely view of the buildings and trees on Quimby Street. The food was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious! Also, the prices were shockingly reasonable for such a sophisticated place. I ordered a 3-egg omelet with fruit and toast, and my mom ordered the eggs Benedict. Nothing were delicious! The service was fabulous. If I am ever back in the area, I hope that i am able to enjoy another fabulous breakfast at the Bernards Inn.

From the smoky wood flavors of seasonal appetizers and entrees, to the finely executed desserts, we at 3 West strive to keep customers coming back for more. A spacious, high-ceilinged barroom is one of three dining rooms characterized by warm shades and t
First, the service was excellent. A large group was handled efficiently and friendly. And being a work dinner, we did not pay for the dinner. However it was a pretty pedestrian dinner that was quite expensive for what we received. The best food was the lump crab appetizer. The summer special drink was unbalanced in flavor. The entree, a tuna sushi was not either particularly creative or unusual. A sushi place would have served something far more creative and interesting. Some people like the pork chops but no one was thrilled with the food. There are many more interesting dining options than 3 West in the area.

American Fare with Historic CharmDating back to the 18th century, the Grain House Restaurant has always been the most popular destination for locals and visitors alike. Known for its historic charm and American inn fare, the popular Grain House Restaurant
A fine example of a revolutionary period building where GW may have visited. Good food which is a little pricey. Three buttons?Low ceilings resulted in the dining rooms being noisy even with polite conversation. We took elderly friends. My wife said that the lady could not use the bathroom due to steps leading to the stalls. Not really handicap accessible.
