Havebeen seeking a good place onthe north of LBI for take/out and this place is perfect! We do not eat fried foods and there were many great choices! Packed for dine-in and take-out, but ready fast and the food was nice and warm and perfectly broiled when we ate at home! Scallops (and a good amount!), freshly cooked corn, and wild rice! Perfect!

Went the other night for dinner and sat on the porch. Restaurant has a charming comfortable modern feel to it.Our waiter was Steven. He was wonderful: knew menu, efficient and funny! We ordered the sourdough bread that is served with unsalted butter and sea salt on side. Bread is excellent but they charge $5 for it!We shared a salad with beets and the grilled octopus. Both were good. (enough for 5 to share)Best entrees were special of day: grilled tuna and on menu the scallops. This place is very pricey but you are paying seasonal prices. However, Stevenâs Service was 100%: when we changed from Chardonnay to Pinot Giorgio, he gave us new glasses. He is an asset to this restaurant Also hostesses are friendly. They have a parking lot.If you read other reviews... they take credit cards nowPS forgot delicious lemon tart!
Soft-serve ice cream & signature shakes top the menu at this classic frozen treat chain.
Some of our group wanted soft serve ice cream instead of the hard turned ice cream you can get from Poppy's nearby. They seemed satisfied with what they received and described it as typical of what you would expect from Dairy Queen. They seemed just as happy as we were with our Poppy ice cream.

Periodically I make the wintertime pilgrimage to Barnegat Lighthouse jetty along with other hardcore birders to check out the Harlequin and other sea ducks. Finding decent food nearby has typically been a hassle, so this time we brought sandwiches just in case. Well, we saw Daymark right outside the parking lot AND it was open, so we were in luck. The New England clam chowder was absolutely superb. The fish and chips and cheeseburger were also very good. The restaurant dining area is large, open with plenty of space to maneuver, full of light and clean. The music was unobtrusive. The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive and the service was fast. The ladies room was immaculate. The locals must be delighted that such an excellent restaurant came to town 3 years ago and has chosen to remain open year round.

Since 1983 this family owned and run restaurant has been dedicated to the principles of using the freshest and highest quality ingredients, preparing and combining them to perfection, and serving with attention and friendliness. The 18th Street Cafe boast
The wait staff here is so rude that my jaw dropped. Everyone in our party of four was dumbfounded. The manager insulted us for sharing an entree between two people, even though the menu lists a $6 sharing charge for anyone not ordering an entree. We would have been happy to pay the six bucks without the snark.

Serving cheap frozen food fast. Friendly staff making sure you get done quickly and out the door fast.
Went there for lunch this past week. To say were disappointed is an understatement. Its usually very good but for some reason, this time everything was wrong. Service was slow (and it wasn't that busy), kitchen was disorganized (so was just about everything else), and the portions were very small and not great. chef salad has two slices or turkey and one piece of ham, very thin and the rest was all salad greens in a small plate. actually, it was the size of a side salad at most every other restaurant. the fried clam platter was very small, both in quantity of clam strips but more so the the size of the clam strips themselves. most were little chunks of mostly breading with a few small strips of clams. NOT the usual platter. too bad because its usually a very good place but we will have to find alternatives.

Our market is a hybrid convenience store, deli, restaurant, bakery and more. We love our customers and are anxious to please. Stop in for what we know will be a memorable meal or Boar's Head Cold cuts. PLUS THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN NJ!
Where do I start??? The staff and food at âTuneyâsâ (as the locals call it) make any wait that MIGHT be necessary, well worth the wait. If theyâre crowded itâs only because theyâre soooo good and everyone knows it. This is also the cutest little grocery store with many unique items, as well as whatever basics you need. The quality of food on the menu is so fresh and the homemade salads are to die for. The apple fritters and other pastries... OMG! I canât rave enough about Neptuneâs! Oh and if you want to make your own meals at home, make sure you buy the bone in pork chops. I guarantee you will say âthis is the most flavorful, juicy and tender pork Iâve ever had.â While youâre there, say hi to the owners, (who happen to be the salt of the earth and put theyâre heart and soul into Tuneys) Al and Teri, and the very talented and friendly staff, Joe, Amy, Chris, Jenn, Debbie D, Christina, and TJ. I wish we had you all in Islamorada. I'll start by thanking you for the kind comments. It is a pleasure to serve great guests like you. After a long, hard summer we now have some time to get to know all of you better. Thanks again from the bottom of our hearts!Teri and Al

We have been to LBI for long weekends for four years now, but never ate here. Busy and popular, but the lack of restaurants in this part of LBI keeps a lot of places open. It was OK for dinner. Big menu with some specials. Wedge salad, veal parm, mussels very good, 3 got chowder and none liked it. Wings, SHRIMP & SCALLOP DEJONGHE OK. Service average.

Great hometown diner. We go off season mostly since the lines in the summer get long and people tend to linger longer inside then other places. Has been featured on FOOD Networks Diners Drive-ins and Dives and its famous for its creative pancakes! Staff returns every season which says a lot about what a family run place this is. Can't beat the prices and try the warm sticky bun. GREAT! back room is cooler in summer but lacks the old diner feel that the front has. Fun place., open March- Jan usually but I would call after Thanksgiving to be sure.

There's always a wait at this place and there's a reason for it....it's good. But they move fast, so you won't wait too long. They have a huge, varied menu, fresh squeezed juice, excellent service and outstanding Eggs Benedict. Our favorite is the one with the crab cake. It's one of the best breakfast places on the island.Thank you the Crabby Benny is a favorite! We can't wait to see you again!
