Great restaurant. Great owners!! The food is always good and the atmosphere is awesome. The new owners, Nancy and Gary did a great job of remodeling the bar and they are fabulous hosts.

After passing this bar/grill several times while visiting recently, we decided to stop and try it. Parking lot had a lot of cars so we figured it was good. Packed inside so we sat at the bar. Bartenders were friendly and attentive. Nice northwoods atmosphere. Very clean. They had a couple TVs to watch sports but I wouldn't call it a sports bar. Seemed like a very good place to take family. The bar area and dining area were open concept so it was quite noisy. They also have an event area on the opposite side of the bar/restaurant. I'm a little confused on the actual name of this place...it comes up as Crickets but all the signage says Brow Tine. Should have asked I guess. We love Wisconsin Fish Frys so since it was Friday, we had the Fish Fry. Choice of battered or broiled with choice of potato and apple coleslaw with a roll. I had the battered with french fries and my husband had the broiled with french fries. Now, I'm born and bred in Wisconsin so I know good Fish Frys and this one didn't cut it. The french fries were really good and the coleslaw average but the fish had a different type of taste. Not a bad taste but maybe the batter had some sort of spice in it that I didn't care for. My husband really liked his broiled but the portion was small. However, we did see lots of pizzas being picked up for take-out and they looked really good so we may have to go back just to try the pizza. Other food looked good too but wouldn't have the fish fry again. Oh well, we tried. Otherwise, we liked the place.

The very very best things about our meal tonight were Ella, our server, and the beautiful outdoor seating !!!!!!!We have deemed Ella our favorite server of the summer! It’s the little things that make lasting impressions. It was a perfect summer evening-being with good friends watching the world go by! However there was music playing loudly and really wasn’t necessary at all. So we simply asked if there were anyway to have the music turned off outside. Ella went and asked and it was turned off!!! It was soooo nice! So many thanks to Ella and whoever gave the nod.The food was okay-but I wonder if more reflection is required in the kitchen department. Also first impressions matter; the broken and missing door handle to the huge dramatic entry door was gone...

It's actually called Top Spot. When you walk in, there's a horseshoe shaped bar and the ceiling above is open. Upstairs they have a pool table and sometimes they have a DJ on the weekends.

I only had cocktails on the wonderful outdoor patio/balcony. It had seating under a large roof as well as seats under umbrellas. Loved it, nice an peaceful while I was there. The owner served me cocktail and even not on happy hour they were very inexpensive. They had an all you can eat buffet all day, but I wasn't hungry, it looked very good though. Nice place in a nice small little town with a wonderful lake.Kind regards,Friscoboy

Service is great. Atmosphere is fun. Most of the food is good Bar Food. We will never order the eggs benedict on a Sunday again. Eggs way under cooked. White part of the egg very runny. This has happened with me and their eggs benedict on two occasions recently. Two years ago, they had the best eggs benedict we have ever had. Must be a new and inexperienced cook in the kitchen.

We have been eating here off and on since 1995. My husband's family has frequented here even longer. The weekends are crowded so make a reservation. The service is outstanding. We love the pan fried walleye and sauteed butternut squash. Cooked to perfection. Dolly plays beautifully on the piano. Love this place.
