The best part of Frisella's is that they took an ancient local historical building that was originally a supply/grocery store at the turn of last century and they are continuing to give it a function that the community enjoys. Food is good, a true Roastery, they cook the meat out back in huge roasters. Average sized portions. Price is fair. Alcohol available. Live music on Thursday nights. Nice ambiance. Service seems to be tag team style; one person takes your order, somebody else delivers the plate. I'd give them 3.5 stars, but overall I recommend them without hesitation.

Lovely corner restaurant with reasonable prices and extensive menu with Burgers, Sandwiches, Breakfast Items and Soup. Service was excellent and food was delicious. I was particularly impressed with their chicken noodle soup- which was homemade and full of fresh chicken (see photo). The half sandwich and soup was a perfect amount of food. We had cheesecake for dessert- yummy! We don"t live in Glendora and this restaurant seems to be a favorite with locals- always a good sign!
The Service: Order the food at the counter and they will deliver the food to your table. Service is efficient. The Food: All the food are cooked to order. Open kitchen style. Many staffs are on duty in the kitchen. Food are prepared fast. All the ingredients are fresh. Good portion size. Love the sweet potato fries and fried green beans~ perfect side dish. The Parking: Plaza parking (free)

Charming Downtown Glendora. Great service, friendly. Our waiter knew his wines, and paring what wine with which entreeâs, fabulous. The decor needed some love for the $$. Concrete floors! Not what I would choose. Concrete absorbs bacteria, germs, odors. I would suggest a face lift. Food was ok.Appetizer cheese plate was nice. Pasta and Chicken dishes very dry, chicken way over cooked! The company we dined with and our waiter is why I gave this restaurant 3 Stars.Culinary Chief, J

Just opened, same chain as the ones in Pasadena, CA and Long Beach, CA
We had the 'A Hazing Grace' and 'Our Daily IPA'...both delicious! We also had the grilled artichoke with chipoltle mayo.....yummy!!! Service was wonderful as well. We loved the puns on the names of the beers and the decor of the place. Made for a very nice end to our visit to the San Gabriel Mountain.

Welcome to California Grill Express, Azusa's newest place to experience your favorite meals in a fast, casual environment. With a hip concept, lively atmosphere and refreshingly different menu, California Grill Express aims to please each guest, no matter
Discovered this place with a Groupon and enjoyed custom made burgers. Glad I tried the CGX bun, which is an unusual combo of dark and "Bavarian squaw" bread. Squaws in Bavaria? Whatever. Friendly service, although a bit pricey if you don't have the Groupon. Will go back. Don't miss out -- order the sweet potato fries!

The NEW City Cafe opened on May 4th 2015. We offer traditional and new American food. We offer a taste of elegance at an affordable price. We also provide trays-to-go and catering.
A first time at this restaurant located in downtown Azuza. the interior was similar to a local eatery with several booths, a few tables and a great looking bar. The drinks were perfect and reasonable. The appetizer of flatbread cheese and steak for two was awesome and could have been an entire meal. We both ordered fish and chips and by the way the chips served beforehand were homemade. The meal was plentiful, the steak fries were good, the coleslaw a bit tasteless and the beer battered fish were slightly greasy. The fish was pure white and lots of it. This is a definite place to visit again. The service by Letty was also very good.

Dated furnishings gives you the feeling of the rustic frontier. But I cant really complain about the food!! My steak was done perfectly and the waitress was right on to make sure I had everything. Great experience!!

It was the best american bbq Iâve ever had! The brisket and the pulled pork were amazing and with so much flavor! They were not dry, like in some other places! The sides were also incredible and perfectly matched with meat...Everybody in the house were very helpful and prepared to explain the menu! Next time in LA and surroudings, Iâll probably go there once again.

The wait is sometimes worth it, but not always if too long. The food is expensive, but the volume is large and the quality is great. When I like to treat myself to a good breakfast, I like to go. Many choices of breakfast with a special preparation. Busy place, but friendly service and great food. If you have time it worth the wait. Always busy, it must be good.
