Restaurant is very neat and clean. On this evening we were promptly seated and our waiter was very attentive and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The bacon burger with fried egg was good. Very large portion and cooked to perfection. Would have liked the beef with a little more flavor. Egg was over cooked. The brioche bun was excellent. French fries were good size portion.

i joined family members for a special birthday celebration. Millwrights is a beautiful setting with an amazing view of the waterfalls. We had the perfect table near the window. Millwrights was very accommodating to our requests and we were able to celebrate with our own cake (cutting fee of $2.50 per person). Millwrights presented the table with complimentary champagne for the celebration. Our food was the best part of the evening. I had their Farm Salad and Scallops. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. The wait staff had somewhat of an attitude at times, like when I asked for forks instead of a spoon to eat my cake. Also, the restaurant would not let us light the cake, because we were told that it was a safety issue with an old building. It was overall, a very pleasant evening.Good evening, Thank you for joining us and for taking a few minutes to write a review about your experience with us. We're happy you selected us for your special occasion location. Thank you for bringing any staff attitude to our attention. We apologize that you felt there was an undesirable attitude when you asked for a fork. We will discuss with our staff. We apologize if there was any confusion about our birthday cake policies. This information was discussed with the point of contact prior to the reservation. If you would like to discuss anything further, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to help.

We generally do not patronize this restaurant because it is too noisy (including loud and unpleasant background music). But we were here to utilize a gift certificate. After we ordered a bottle of wine and it was delivered, opened and served, our waitress apologetically told us that she had forgotten to tell us that the menu was incorrect and the bottle actually cost $60 rather than the $36 listed in the menu. Since we happened to be there on a half-price wine evening, she said we would get it for $30. Since this was $6 less than what we had originally expected to pay, we decided to just roll with it and not spoil our evening with a price dispute. That said, the only correct thing for any restaurant to do is either (1) take 15 minutes and pen-and-ink change the menus to show the correct prices, (2) remember to disclose the error before the order is placed and accepted, or (3) eat the cost difference without making it the customer's problem. We ended up paying $12 more for the wine than we should have, and sadly that only reinforces our perception that this otherwise solid restaurant has a cultural challenge in putting the customer first. Because of the previously noted noise issues and this cultural issue affecting customer service, we will not return.

For a variety of reasons having to do with circumstances, we decided to order sides and soups for Thanksgiving from the NE Pasta Co. and just fuss with cooking the turkey itself (in an oven bag, no less, which worked wonderfully). We ordered, cranberry sauce, gravy, stuffing, potatoes, green beans with garlic and almond slivers and cream of cauliflower soup. We didn't even bother heating and eating the soup - all of the other portions were generous for four people. We did also get pumpkin bread, but that was for breakfast. It was easy to pick up the day before Thanksgiving. It was easy to heat on the bottom rack of the oven while the turkey roasted.I assume the food is as good IN the restaurant as it is for take-out, but I can't comment on the service. The ambiance, of course, is that of a catering outfit in a strip mall.

We brought a large party here and we had multiple appetizers and dinners. Everything was good, and some very good. The service was also good. This is a good place for a simple dinner.

My husband and I had dinner at the North House in Avon, Connecticut on Sunday, June 30, 2019. The food was high quality, nicely prepared and delicious. The portions were also quite generous. My husband had the rib eye steak, which he really enjoyed, and I had the trout with clam chowder, which was quite good. We also were able to take advantage of the happy hour with very reasonably priced drinks and appetizers, including fried calamari, which was delicious. The happy hour was great because we were able to sit in the dining room and have dinner and did not have to sit in the bar to take advantage of it. . . . The overall service was excellent with our waitress being very friendly, polite, attentive and efficient. The atmosphere at the restaurant was very relaxing with nice comfortable seating in a booth. We recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back again.

We we looking for a local deli-style place for a quick bite and found this little gem. Ate there twice. First time, sat at the counter and split a tuna sub on their homemade roll with a glass of lemonade.Sunday returned for breakfast on the porch. We had a great view of the Heublein Tower rising above the trees while enjoying apple filled crepes and a breakfast burrito. They serve Green Mountain coffee and although not espresso, it's good and strong.Sometimes only a deli will do!

Over Thanksgiving weekend, my husband and I celebrated our 50th Anniversary with our closest family at Seasons in Avon Old Farms Hotel. We had our own room and server (Sheralyn) and everything was perfect! I had met with the manager, Duke, a couple of times so that we could decide on menu choices, room setup, cake, what to do about flowers etc. Our private room was near the restaurant and bar, and a pianist played right outside the door! At one point he came in and led a Happy Anniversary song to us! The childrenâs menu was good for the younger grandchildren and all of the adults were pleased with the options they were given. The room looked very festive and there were even place cards for our guests. The cake was almost too good looking to eat! I must also mention that the hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays! Before the start of our dinner, we had a photographer come to take pictures by the Christmas tree and the spiral staircase. Everyone was thrilled with the evening, the food, the ambiance and the service.
