My husband loves Terra Fried Chicken but I have never been there. I finally had the opportunity on a Wednesday evening. Since I'm following the keto diet I opted for the Cajun grilled catfish, tossed salad and green beans. Delicious!Hubby got the chicken fried steak. I asked for a small bite. It was quite tasty! The service was awful. But the food was very good. Hopefully we will have a different server when we return.

We stopped here on the way to Lake Placid based on previous reviews. We were not disappointed. Breakfast was in point with generous portions. The staff are gracious and oh so pleasant. We will be back and this time we will get pie!

Sandwiches, salads, home baked desserts at reasonable prices and tastes great. Small town ambience and pleasant family run establishment.
Just a simple place to have a quick bite to eat. Lots of interesting things displayed on the walls, history. We had sandwich and soup for lunch.

This restaurant was a real "let down". We drove a long ways to get here from Fort Myers and online they advertise boat trips, a fossil museum and a GREAT restaurant. Not so fast there Skippy! Fossil museum was not there anymore, boat trips were cancelled due to Hurricane Dorian's possible approach (no blame for that - unforeseeable) and the restaurant was nasty! Restrooms had no paper towels or dryers for your wet hands (same for Men's and Women's as noticed by myself and my Mom). I ordered the Red Fish hoagie meal with a Landshark beer. Dad had a Red Fish Reuben sandwich meal and Mom ordered the Coconut shrimp meal. Dad also had a beer. Only my Pop's meal was any decent. Mom's coconut shrimp where breaded and fried from a frozen box and my Red Fish hoagie was a thin fillet of fish with one piece of lettuce, 2 thinly sliced tomatoes and some runny tartar sauce. Loads of hoagie bread though! No flavor whatsoever! My Mom's dipping sauce for her shrimp was some water like liquid with slivers of something floating in it. Total bill came to $50.00 plus tip!! Really - for that uninspiring meal!! Skip this place - you're better off going with the dollar menu at McDonald's.Hello,Fossil museum is under construction this summer. I am the owner and I am curious if you have any pictures on your food? I am there everyday, eat our fish regularly as well as use the sauces you mentioned. None of which are watered down. There are signs in the bathroom stating to please alert management if we need anything (towels). This is not an excuse for not having them but I know that any of my staff would have refilled them in a heartbeat. The same with your lettuce complaint, my staff would provide more to make you happy! They are trained to be accomaditng. I am sorry your visit was a let down, I am somewhat puzzled by your review honestly. As I mentioned I am hands on and would love to fix all issues. Please send pictures if you have them.

We were visiting with my in-laws in Sarasota and they took us here one evening. Got the combo platter with ribs, chicken and sliced beef. The ribs and chicken were outstanding! The chicken was tender and the ribs were perfect-not too overcooked-just enough bite to get it off the bone. Wait staff was very attentive.

Thanks to the Trip Advisor community we went to Magnolia Street for supper one evening when in town on business. I had the shrimp and grits and my colleague had fried clam strips. Everything was great, service was excellent and staff was friendly. Lots of good options on the menu, a definite repeat. Highly recommend.
