We have eaten at Waffle House's several times. Never noticed them being filthy. This day they were busy. We waited 20 minutes for counter stools that overlooked the prep, grill, waffle station, and kitchen area. Workers were busy, but had time to stand around and chat , with filthy floors and work stations all around them. Not one worker was doing any needed clean up. The area was revolting. As I waited for our breakfast I wondered how they passed inspections or if food serves ever gave them surprse inspections. Was I going to get sick? I did see one worker slide some food under a counter with her foot. I hoped the food stations our breakfast was being cooked and prepared were cleaner than the floor. Though we continued to sit I finally diverted my eyes and quit dwelling on the food and debris sliding around. The food came and it was just as we had ordered and very good. If I had not been sitting where I could see the appalling mess behind the counter I would give the Waffle House a 4 1/2. They were friendly and service was quick. We may give them another try on off hours. I would like to think our experience is not a regular cleanliness issue. It will take me awhile toI get over this current experience. Didn't get sick.

We stopped in for lunch. The interior is bright yellow and navy with assorted wall decor.Very simple tables and chairs with bright table clothes and chair wrappings. The menu had minimum food selections. My wife ordered a Rueben sandwich, but the waitress came back to say they had no corned beef. She settled for a chicken croissant sandwich, I ordered a burger. The food came in reasonable time. My wife said her chicken croissant sandwich was OK, tasty, but there were large chunks of grapes and chicken making it awkward to eat.My burger,I highly suspect, was of a frozen pre-made patty based upon its round flat shape. The meat was over cooked and dry.The french fries were golden and crispy, likely pre-made and frozen, but were still very good.So the food was blah. The service was good, the check amount was reasonable.I am trying their breakfast menu next.Nothing special here to report so I rate this cafe three stars.

They are known for their breakfasts, but we were there for dinner. Menu is mostly sandwiches and burgers. My shrimp basket was very filling and my husband said his burger was good. The taco salad looked really nice. Prices were reasonable. This is a sports bar with many TVs. There is often entertainment....mostly Western. Service was very good.

The menu used to be bigger. The food is mediocre. It seems like they are understaffed, although the workers do a pretty good job and try hard. Our to go pie was given to someone else and the piece we got looked like leftovers. We used to eat there more often, but probably wonât this year.

We decided to try this place. I was not impressed. We got seated right away. The waitress kept calling me strange names like mama, darling and honey. I donât appreciate names like this. The chips & salsa were very good. My husbands meal was good and he had steak. I ordered chicken & mashed potatoes. My mashed potatoes were covered in a greasy gravy. Maybe some like this âdown home cookingâ but to me, it was not good. We ordered martinis and that was a joke and I couldnât drink mine since it had lots of vermouth. The atmosphere there made me think that the building was very old & it was not a pleasant environment. I felt like the floor was going to collapse since there were many metal plates covering the wood floor. When we left, there were many people waiting for a table so perhaps other menu options are better.

Had real nice lunch here while visiting Goldfield Ghost Town,. My husband and I both ordered the Chicken Quesadillas extra hot and they tasted so good real nice and spicy with salsa on the side highly recommend, prices were reasonable with two soft drinks under $28 for lunch.

Had a great time on a Saturday afternoon the live music was great and wings were some of the best I have ever had and ample quantity. But what set it apart for me was the setting with the spectacular Superstition Mountains as the back drop.

We stopped in for lunch on Sunday. They were busy but we were seated right away. I would describe this place as a diner as they have a counter as well as booths and tables. Very extensive menu. Many people were ordering breakfast food which looked and smelled delicious. We opted for burgers and fries. It was only a short wait before we received our food. My son commented on how good the burger was and I thought so too. If you order a beverage, they give you one in a to-go styrofoam cup. Unusual but it was nice to take with us as we were out sightseeing that day.

I had the salmon, side salad and grilled zucchini and peppers. Everything was delicious! The waiter was on top of it and the live music was good. Also a good selection of beer. I liked the atmosphere as well. If I lived around here, I'd be a regular!
