First challenge: finding the driveway to get into the parking lot (we overshot it and had to make a strange u-turn that was probably totally legal). Big, comfort-food menu with gluten-free options, substantial portions, friendly staff, but what I ordered was not what I got. I didn't want to fuss (nor will I call out the server who was super sweet but was confused what I wanted). I ended up with a veggie omelet, which is okay. What I wanted was a veggie benedict with scrambled instead of poached eggs. What is the difference? 6000 calories worth of Hollandaise sauce. Refills on drinks came quickly and with a smile. It's a nice location.

This Black Bear Diner has taken the idea of a family restaurant and really kicked it up a notch. The menu is filled with tasty selections that will appease even the finickiest of eaters, not to mention the best desserts around. We pride ourselves in deliv
This was our 3rd Black Bear...and again it was great. Big hearty portions. We ordered 2 steaks, both came well done as well as the sides. Restrooms appropriate and clean even though we stepped in 30 mins before closure time. Service EXCELLENT as always. Desert: a great cherry pie.

Napkins Bar + Grill, is in the heart of downtown Napa, offers American cuisine with a global influence. with the large bar where you can enjoy your drinks and watch your favorite team playing. enjoy cocktails and Appetizers from our late night menu, join
The food was fantastic, but outside was empty (inside busier)...very slow.....They also only have half chicken as do many restaurants in Napa...a waste, to end up throwing in the garbage. For a town so interested in paper straws and recycling...why would they want food tossed into waste.
Used to be Gaia but trademark dispute with new owners forced name change. Very good food, friendly service and reasonably priced
I was nervous with some reviews I read but this hotel exceeded my expectations. Most hotels were booked so we didn't have many options and this turned out to be a very relaxing and quiet hotel. Rooms were clean. Restaurant had slow service. Only downside is the location is not very convenient to downtown Napa and the wineries.

Went in to grab a sandwich for lunch on the golf course. A couple came in after me and were served lunch while waited. Another group.... same thing. By the time I got an overpriced veggie sandwich 45 minutes had passed! The sandwich wasn't good enough to justify the cost or the wait. I suspect this cafe has cost the golf course a lot of money.

Napoli Pizzeria is Vallejo's local favorite. Whether you come from the Vallejo Ferry, live downtown or near the waterfront, Napoli Pizzeria will meet your Italian food cravings. Our menu serves up award-winning, hand-tossed pizzas cooked in well-seasoned
Plenty of off-street free parking, great service by Gina who kept the food and refills coming, tvs if you wanted to catch the NFL, an open kitchen to watch the pizzas being made, and a constant flow of customers who know each other and the kitchen staff. The one drawback was the super garlicky dresssing for the Caesar salad, but at least I'm safe from vampires for life. Good alfredo sauce: not too rich like some places, just right flavors and just the right amount. Gluten free crust is an option as well.

3-6 is Happy Hour at Junction Brewery. We enjoyed beer and starters at reduced prices. The house brews are average, but it's happy hour and why not try them? We enjoyed the fries, calamari and wings as well. The bar and dining room are separated and we ended up in the dining room. Definitely a place to come back to.

Hearty brunch plates at an affordable price point in the heart of Napa Valley's wine country? Yes, this road stop cafe that only operates from breakfast/ brunch seven days a week is truly an undiscovered gem in the small community of American Canyon, which literally has a four lane highway for those driving to and from wine country. But South Kelly Grill is a place to behold, with its unassuming red exterior and winding road to even get to the small yet packed parking lot where the restaurant happens to reside. Many of us may know this establishment by it's previous name: the Highway 29 Cafe, until three years ago when new owner Liz took over and renamed it the South Kelly Grill after the street in which it is located, right by the entrance to the popular local Flea Market. I came on a chilly but nice Sunday afternoon with two friends who were looking to get some food in their stomachs before we headed to a local winery. We did our due diligence and looked for local eats in the nearby neighborhood and one of the few, if not only breakfast spot to pop up was the South Kelly Grill. I had driven by this small red building never giving a second thought until a friend led me here and I could not be more surprised on what we discovered this morning. A bright homey interior with a lot of country kitsch and character with a certain small town Americana charm that goes hand in hand with a local diner. A short wait in their waiting area that was no longer than five minutes, and we were sat.We perusing their menu, the first thing I noticed was the affordability of all of their plates on their menu, not one dish was over $13.95 and in this area at the prices that most dishes are sold that was simply amazing to me. I also noticed they had a lot of options on their menu, which was nice since they only specialize in breakfast dishes. They had country favorites like Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs in addition to a wide array of specialties ranging from various kinds of Eggs Benedict to Huevo's Rancheros and Chilaquiles. Our server recommended Country Combo from the Traditional Country Breakfast portion of the menu, with two eggs served any style, a choice of hash browns or country potatoes, and choice of sausage, bacon or ham, it was the perfect meal for only $10.50. The bonus was that instead of toast or biscuit, you could get 2 pancakes as an additional meal item at no additional cost. Once I heard that I asked what other came with that kind of meal, and she responded with that one of the specials of the day, you could also substitute pancakes for the toast. So I decided to go with the Linguica Scramble filled with sausage, country potatoes, peppers, onions, cheese mixed in with scrambled eggs all served with a dollop of sour cream and side of fresh salsa. The dish was a fiesta for my taste buds! I loved the overall heartiness of the dish, which was only accentuated when our server brought out two huge pancakes to go with my dish. I was so stuffed I could only finish one of the pancakes and at $13.95 for the whole meal, I was more than satisfied. We arrived at South Kelley Grill feeling famished and left so stuffed that none of us could finish our meals, which only means we were quite satisfied. I would totally go again just to try more dishes on their menu. As their Crab Eggs Benedict and the other Skillet entrees sounded quite delicious. The place gets packed, but not too packed that you can't get a seat within a reasonable amount of time. Hearty breakfast dishes at such an affordable price point while supporting local business owners, I consider it a win-win when dining at the South Kelly Grill.

I went here with my family. I have the chicken fried steak. It's probably one of the most disgusting things I try to put in my mouth. I couldn't even eat one bite. The steak was old like leather it smelled old to and tasted disgusting. Like it it's up there too long in the fridge. My son ordered a hot dog they cut it in half and it was hard he could barely eat it. We didn't get any drinks till the end of our meal. So I had to get bottled water out of my car. We ordered hot chocolate and we got it right before we're going to leave the restaurant. They probably should have gave us water and our drinks at the beginning. It cost us over $80 for a family of 6 to eat here. They did make up my order and give me something else to eat instead of the disgusting old chicken fried steak. They gave me some corned beef hash that came out of a can that look like cat food what was edible. I would never recommend this restaurant. Unless you want to pay a lot of money and get nasty food and bad service.
