Sit out on the deck overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee. Relax and have a nice, if not spectacular dinner, and be sure to feed the begging ducks. A lovely way to spend dinner or lunch.

A very nice smaller style restaurant on the water. This was recommended to us by locals and it was well worth it. Lobster rolls were great as where the mussels. Reasonably price for a touristy location.

This restaurant fits into the category of average. The food is average, okay, not great. Pizza is pretty standard. We did a family event recently and somehow the waitress didnât focus on the kids table first. So the kids (10+) started coming apart at the seams. Itâs such a rookie mistake. Note to waitresses: feed the kids first, no matter what.Second, give everyone water. Always. Donât ask, just bring it.I thought the bartenders were good. This could be a special place but I think it caters to diners who donât know the difference.
We stopped in Alton to visit the Crafts Fair when we saw the restaurant It was a nice looking building and appeared fairly busy. We got there around 2 pm and didn;t leave until almost 4. The burgers we ordered were excellent, the appetizers (Irish Rueben Rolls) were outstandingThe downside was the service. It took a while for the waitress to get to us and then a long time to get the drinks and we waited almost an hour for the food to come. Fortunately we were talking with each other during this time, otherwise, we would have probably left the restaurant rather than waiitng anymore. If not for the food, it would have not been a place we would come to again.

We thought weâd give it a try. New restaurant in town taking over a building that had a successful restaurant in the past. Heard the reviews that the new place was very pricey for the environment, building decor and food. I definitely agree. Place has tried to organize the parking to get as many spots available. Tough to read the sign as you drive by when itâs green with gold indented lettering. Bartender and hostess greeted us very welcomingly. It was Dave, the bartenders, first day. He made us decent drinks. Bar Manager was friendly and inviting. Appetizer of fried portabella mushrooms was okay. Fry not very flavorful. Main meals: Duck ravioli and fish tacos (specials) were tasty for the price. Nut crusted chicken needed a knife to cut through. It must have been sitting or par cooked prior since it was room temperature at best. The potatoes and carrots were hot underneath the chicken. Not worth $19. Pan seared scallops were $30 for five scallops. Not flavorful for the cost. Dessert great cannolis!!!All plating is gorgeous. Bright and eye inviting. Waiter very accommodating!!!!For the cost of the meals, Iâd expect the place to look better and food to taste better. Possibly give it another try after some time pasts.

Came to Wolfeboro to celebrate our anniversary. Stayed at the Inn on Maine because we were able to get a one night stay. Great king size room and decided to eat at O Bistro at the Inn. What a find! First of all the manager Patti was so friendly and funny and found us the perfect table despite it being busy and we did not have reservations. Our dinners - filets and steak tips were some of the best weâve ever had. Excellent. Raspberry lemon cheesecake was just as delicious We will be back.It was wonderful meeting you both. So happy you found us. Looking forward to seeing you again. Enjoy the sun! Patti

We hadnât been there in years. Nothing much has changed except much higher prices. The waitress was pleasant but it seemed forced. Oh well......... Thank you for the visit and taking the time to give us feedback. We hope to see you again.

Revisit - been here many times in last few months and tried many of their sandwiches. Always first-rate. All the classics are available. My favorite is the hot meatball sub: excellent meatballs, tangy marinara sauce, and perfect sub rolls. Available in small or large. Another favorite is the âThanksgivingâ only on Fridays: sliced turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce on Texas toast. Awesome! Soups and limited salads also for sale. Can get very busy around lunch time. Best to call in your order then usually no wait. Limited bar style seating inside. Picnic tables outside. Parking usually available, just off Main St. Prices very reasonable for quality product and service.

We were driving around and stopped into the diner for a late lunch. Luckily, we arrived shortly before their closing time of 1:30PM. We had the diner to ourselves. We were not super hungry, so we decided on a bowl of clam chowder for each of us. Wow â we were so impressed! It was thick and full of clams.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times (lunch, dinner, and just appetizers) and ave never been disappointed. The food and service is always exceptional! Make a reservation and be sure to get a seat outside on the deck!
