At The Fishinâ Pig, we have the finest from land and sea: savory, smoked meats and flavorful, fresh seafood! The Fishinâ Pig is a southern culinary combination that will delight all the senses! Eat like a pig. Drink like a fish. â
The place had a really nice set-up. Corn hole on the side, band stand out back, outdoor bar as well as food seating, numerous tvâs to watch sports. Next was the food. We ordered the smoked wings, broiled to a glaze, sampler plate, burger. The wings werenât broiled and glazed but they were good and meaty. The burger was over cooked, the andouille was not traditional but it was was a great smoked sausage, the brisket was tasteless and very greasy, the shredded pork and chicken were very very dry, the ribs were tender and tasteless.Thank you for taking the time to fill out a review, as any feedback is greatly appreciated and helps us to improve. We are sorry to hear that your recent visit was unsatisfactory. We will be addressing your complaints about the food with our kitchen staff. We hope that you will give us the chance to improve and come back to dine with us.

This is a great little place with such a wide selection of food on the menu and all home made in a very short period of time. The service here is so quick in the time you place your order until your meal arrives. The folks here are all so pleasant and willing to help with any questions or selections. The hardest part is choosing what to order as they all look so very good. The offer outdoor patio seating for those who like the outdoor setting. The front part of the restaurant has a nice gift shop with all types of wines for your liking. Will be back again to try other items on the menu.

Snug parking lot with tight fit tables and booths. You need a key to use the restrooms on the outside of the building. All that said, this is a very nice place to eat. Many menu choices; all reasonably priced. Food is tasty and nice size portions. Service was better than average.

While visiting our friends in Waynesboro we decided to order some dinner for delivery. Our friends just so happened to have a menu for Heritage. We ordered our food and had it delivered. It arrived in a very timely manner. The pear salad was excellent and so was the Cuban sandwich ordered by my husband. The best part of our meal was the onion rings! We highly recommend Heritage. You can find something to satisfy your hunger.

Recommended by a friend for a place to meet with family/friends for lunch. Learning of the owner's sacrifice made glad we chose this place. It was an privilege to learn of Jake's service.Burgers were great (a bit overcooked) but great flavor from locally raised beef. French fries and drinks were very good. Excellent attentive service.

Tailgate is a fast food restaurant with its own twist. It uses a minimalist approach. You seat yourself and the server usually arrives promptly unless it is very busy. After ordering, your burgers are made fresh to order in full view of the restaurant. My burgers have always been perfect and the fry portions are huge. My family of 3 normally orders a small fry and we don't always finish them. The food arrives on tableware that can be easily discarded and you may only see your server once or twice more to refill your drink. The minimalist approach probably helps keep costs low. You take your ticket to the register to pay.I appreciate Tailgate because it is inexpensive and serves actual meat burgers-no fillers here! I also don't have to cook or clean up after myself. They keep it simple but they do it well.

We are a casual fine dinning restaurant that makes our food from scratch. We offer jumbo scallops wrapped in house cured bacon, grilled flat iron and sirloin steaks, gumbo, crawfish etouffee, Po-boys and one of the best reubens made with house made sauerk
After reading reviews on TA, decided to try for dinner on our one night in Waynesboro. Was wishing we had gone to the Cracker Barrel near our hotel. I ordered a dinner special, Potato Crusted Rockfish, which the waiter said had been well liked by others. It was not great...tasted like dry fish sticks. And the asparagus served with it was undercooked. My friend I was dining with ordered the flat iron steak and was pleased with it. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong menu item,

My husband and I were delighted with the service, atmosphere and food! Friendly staff, tasty breakfast burrito (lots of cheese!) and smooth coffee.

We're not foodies, yet wanted to try something new and fun for our anniversary dinner. Wow. Exceeded our expectations. We had a great evening from beginning to end.The dinner offering started with sparkling wine and strolling the grounds for a few minutes. Meal itself was four courses paired with four different wines. Check online for the week's menu. The chef makes what's fresh and local (for the most part). White linen table clothes, silver, wine goblets, and high end services without pretention. The dining rooms have about 4 tables each so it is quiet and intimate. We find it well worth it. Cost less than an upper end restaurant in any major city, yet fresher, more creative, and better service. Thanks to Angel and Chef Andy for a terrific evening.

Spent an afternoon lunchtime with a group at Blue Mountain Brewery. Even though the place is smack-dab on the highway, the mountain views are still nice. There is lots of parking and some available yard space for families to play corn hole and such. Since the day was so gorgeous, we opted to eat outdoors under umbrellas, but there is a fair amount of indoor seating, too. I'm not a fan of having to eat with everyone's dogs, but this seems to be all the rage right now. I didn't try any beer, so I can't comment on the brews. The food was decent, but the menu left a bit to be desired. Everything was pretty much a sandwich or pizza, so there are not a lot of options for anyone hoping to avoid bread. Prices were higher than I would have preferred, but they were probably fairly average for this type of place.
