The people who work there make this resort a wonderful experience and the beach is beautiful. We are familiar with the Secrets brand & this location falls very short even if I tried to overlook some of the reviews. After 2 years of not being able to travel of course we appreciated our experiences but it's not Secrets standard. The AMAZING charming Charmen (need to bring her at the front of the house!), Antoinette (different flowers in her hair every day - she's a ray of sunshine) & Ivan (just a class act) at breakfast and lunch just made my day! Elisha at the evening bar - hard worker and just full service dealing with all the characters at the bar! It's quiet, calm, not a party place - which was fine! Get out of the resort and do things: Jo's Charter at the marina or take a drive and visit the island. Security could be better too, ppl paid for Preferred Club & just about everyone used the place - not worth the expense. Also, on the beach several ppl from other resorts occupied beach chairs that weren't guests of the resort. We walked to the front entrance one evening & no security was spotted.

Explore the beauty and otherworldly charms of St. Maarten when you vacation at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort. This resort is completely renovated and opening May 2018. Nestled on a private peninsula between two crystal clear bays — Little Bay and Great Bay — our Caribbean resort offers stunning beaches and close proximity to Phillipsburg, the Dutch capital.
I visited for my Birthday in May and I was very impressed with everything!! The check- in process, the staff, my suite was a 1.bedroom on the Oceans side and it was beautiful. The property was maintained very well and I would see the staff working hard to do so daily!! I must say my stay was extra special because of the manager Tina!!! She was spectacular and so resourceful. Tina is genuinely friendly and caring and always made sure my party and I were always happy. I recommend this hotel for sure. I will be back this year!!! Intimate, relaxing and serene, totally renovated and rebuilt, on two beautiful Caribbean beaches. Private, but accessible to the gastronomic village of Grand Case. Warm, friendly service will have you coming back time after time! All accommodations with full kitchens, WiFi and TV.
This resort is located at the end of the town of Grand Case which is a bit further from the airport than Marigot. The scenery from the rooms and hotel is just amazing with turquoise colors in the water everywhere you look. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Maid and other staff very polite. We loved the restaurant on site with its amazing location right over the water and fantastic views of the sunsets. The meals at the restaurant were excellent with different specials every night. Go for the Moule fest - mussels on Thursday which were just super. Many of the staff speak French which my wife loved as she got to practice speaking but everyone speaks English so no worries if you don't. Rooms are nice and have been recently renovated. All the standard rooms are on the first floor so go for a one bedroom as will be on the 2nd level with better views. Lofts are on the 3rd level. We would definitely go back to this resort. There are also several good restaurants within a 10 minute walk in the town of Grand Case. Given there are kitchens you can buy food at a store and do your own thing as well. We will note that the town is a bit run down and still not rebuilt from the 2017 hurricane and you will see that over much of the island.

Our room was clean and had all of the basic items we needed. Great AC for those that need a cool room in the heat. Amazing view of the ocean! The front desk staff was attentive and responsive for questions or requests that we had. Not to mention, we were set up with a private COVID19 test at the front desk (required for our return flight home) which was very convenient for us! If we find ourselves back on the island, we’ll be back to Princess Heights

Due to the way this resort in St Martin is situated on the property that is perpendicular to the beach there is limited availability in the two ocean front villas that include the Presidential Suites and deluxe oceanfront rooms. All superior and deluxe rooms include kitchenettes. Suites offer full kitchens and large living rooms. Guests enjoy the peaceful surroundings and a cordial, pampering yet unobtrusive on-site multi-lingual staff prepared to assist with any special needs. Esmeralda offers free use of beach chairs & umbrellas. Each accommodation has a fully equipped kitchenette (suites have fully equipped kitchens including dishwasher), large tile bath with hair dryer plus a 110 outlet for shavers only, color satellite TV, room safe, air conditioning with ceiling fan, daily maid service. The location is in a nice gated area. The property has lots of space and green areas and the rooms are nicely distributed across the property in -what I saw- villas of 3-4 guest rooms. Every villa has a small pool, however the pool is not so convenient, as it has no umbrellas and the pool area is not so welcoming to stay and relax. The room (ours was a deluxe room), is super clean and had all amenities and electro domestics needed: iron, microwave, coffee machine, fridge.. etc. Really, the room is GREAT! The breakfast mmh.. is not nice. Accommodation includes continental breakfast, that we knew, however they serve a couple of slides of fruits and croissants and they remark every day that if you need something extra you need to pay for it. For the price of the accommodation, they should include some more breakfast, or better, no breakfast at all, as it is annoying to see such as small breakfast served and the willingness to sell something in addition. We saw the same discomfort from other guests. The resort has no beach. It has agreements with the some beach bars to give sunbeds for free, however the nicest that is right next to the hotel, you need to pay 15eur per person per day to get a sunbed. Esmeralda should include this in the price per night and offer it to the guests. Otherwise you need to walk and find other beach clubs where they will offer you a "second line" sunbed for free. The Orient Beach is SUPER windy, it is wide and large and beautiful, however is soo windy that sometimes is not easy to stay for long at the beach. Summary: Super nice accommodation, not convenient breakfast and beach.

The rooms were spacious with 2 full baths and full kitchen. Perfect location on the beach with stores nearby. Restaurants were easily accessible and the staff was friendly and helpful with answering questions. They arranged our covid testing the day before we left as well as our taxis for exploring the city or going to dinner. There was a washer and dryer which made it convenient to leave with clean clothes. Although my friend became ill on the trip, we still had a good time. Spending time on the beach, including a massage, and sitting on the balcony (so relaxing I fell asleep) was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again!
