I was staying there for about a week in march 2015 when the place was just founded. It's a lovely place, I always loved to come back home there to the peaceful garden which was great for relaxing after having spent a busy day. The staff and owner are very kind, the rooms are clean and tidy, the garden is just wonderful and the food is great. The place is accessible by daladala, bicycle or taxi from the city center.Dear Cafabian, It was more a pleasure to us having you at our garden! You brought lots of happiness, life, and strength to us!You are always welcome when visiting Tanzania again! And keep signing!

My girlfriends and I had lunch inside Pub Alberto, where we weren't squeezed on the porch. That was helpful and we were nearly the only people in the restaurant for lunch. My girlfriends had fish and other platters, I had a Chrisburger hamburger. It was good. We were able to chat and talk and the area is central so it is a nice combiniation.

If you want freshly made delicious soup in Moshi, this is the place to find it!
We had a great time trying out their section of tanzanian food. Pilau with beef was our favorite. The staff is friendly and quick to bring the drinks. Food takes a bit longer but it's worth the wait. And the portions are big as well.I wish i would have gone more often because I'm missing that pilau!

A home for a recreation centre.
Went to this place with 5 friends to wrap up a week of hard work. The service was attentive and pleasant, and the beer was cold. The food was very tasty and well served... I had the ugali with fish... which was excellent. The barbecue and grilled stuff smelled excellent, although I did not get to try it :( ... anyhow, nice place. The only serious complaint was that the food did take quite a while to arrive, like nearly an hour, even though the place was not terribly busy.

Uhuru Park Gardens consists of 15 kiosks all of which serve local Tanzanian food. Kiosk #13 is operated by Give a Heart To Africa graduates. They are 4 hard working mamas trying to run a small business in order to improve their family income and lifestyle
Local venders providing a good selection of traditional fare (stews, chips, rice, chicken, samosas, etc...) with an open communal dining garden. People were all extremely welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is a "local" as you can get. The only detrimental issues were the birds that fly and sit int he trees overhead, and the occasional beggar. Several of the venders provide a "mixer" plate, that gives a sampling of various different foods.

Twice have eaten at this restaurant. Both times good food done right. Not gourmet but tasty and large enough to fill you up. I had from "quick menus". # 3 fish and chips. Comes with slaw salad. 9000 shillings or about $4.

Best view of Mt. Kilimanjaro
Food was amazing, would highly recommend! However, when we got the bill we noticed we have been charged over 3x the advertised amount on the menu. Upon requesting a new bill we were told we had to pay the prices or the owner would take it from the waitressâ wages. He is a sickening, misogynistic man who is awful to be around and unreasonable. Not only does he abuse his staff, he also verbally abuses his female customers. There was no apology despite our party of 12 bringing plenty of business and inviting 20 others to meet up with us.We eventually resolved the issue and have great fear that the poor waitress will be fired after this, we will be returning at some point to ensure she still has her job.We left greatly conflicted as the food was some of the best in moshi but we have no desire to give such an awful human being any further business.

Good atmosphere and service, the same piano song playing over and over but at least it was a good, relaxing song. I think it was pricey. Other places the Tanzanian food is cheap, it should be, since it consists of rice and beans most of the time. Here was the most expensive I saw, was around 10000shillings if I'm not totally mistanken (usually pay half the price or lower). I had the butternutsquash soup, I could tell it was homemade, tasted delicious. Was around 6000sh. But we waited 2hours for food and they were slow on drinks as well. So go here BEFORE you get hangry (hehe). Also make sure you know how to get back to town, get some tuk tuk drivers number. They could not arrange transportation for us since they had no numbers. Its located a bit out of town.

Pamoja Cafe, home to "Moshi's Best Burgers", is a chilled out and funky Rasta Bar, serving great local and western food, cold beer and cocktails. Located in the heart of Moshi, close to several hotels and hostels, Pamoja is a favourite spot for locals, ex
This is a quaint lovely cafe with pretty good food.Went here for a late evening awesome place!!g where the speakers were pumping out music ranging from classics to more modern songs everyone knows (lots of rap/regge/Bob Marley!). It was a great vibe and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I ordered the fried chicken with salad, served with chips and the food is tasty offering both western and Tanzanian dishes. There was only one guy serving everyone so service was slow, but he did a good job considering how busy they were.I couldn't recommend anywhere in Moshi more if you want a nice relaxed more budget atmosphere, excellent staff, not too expensive and easy stop food if you need something quick but tasty is PAMOJA CAFE. If you visit night time take same precaution. The cafe located on New Street around the corner from Kindoroko Hotel is a great place to hang out and watch the life of Moshi walk by.
