Tokyo is the epitome of frenetic energy and jam-packed cosmopolitan culture—it’s populated by 12.5 million people. Still, it’s one of the safest cities in the world, ensuring a (nearly) carefree stay packed with pulsing nightlife, succulent cuisine and endless city experiences. Four national museums, gorgeous gardens and parks, Michelin-starred restaurants, and kooky-chic street fashions are only part of what makes Tokyo so unique. Don’t miss the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art, the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden and the Gwen Stefani-lauded neighborhood of Harajuku.

Tokyo Ryokan has 3 ( three ) Japanese-style rooms, all laid out with tatami floor mats. Couples/Groups/Families can enjoy one of the rooms for private use. Each room is heated in winter, cooled in summer. There is no extra cost for the air-conditioning.
Host is amazingly supportive and helps out tremendously e.g. by proactively searching out best public transport plans and giving tips on Tokyo to-do and where to eat out. Place itself is typical traditional Japanese and cute. Shower and toilet are shared but didn’t bother us. Nearby is a cute little cafe and some good places to eat. We recommend.

Aogashima, a truly magical place to visit. But you already knew that if you are reading this review. A tough place to visit for Japanese people, a nearly impossible task for foreign folk. Challange 1 Book a helicopter flight from Hachijojima there and back. 1 flight per day, max capacity 9 people. Only reserve by telephone at the earliest 1 month before departure.. Challange 2 A place to sleep. All the places are only reachable by phone and only speak Japanese. After some strugle, we emailed the village office, they book this place for us. They also arranged a rental car for us (a must have on the island). Challange 3 Book a flight from Tokyo to Hachijojima and back. (not to much of a challange really). The B&B is fairly expensive, but worth the price as breakfast, a thermic steampot lunch to go + dinner is included. The place is clean and the rooms suprisingly nice. There is a shared shower and bathroom and everyone has dinner and breakfast together at the same time. All meals were good. Sushime, soup and side dishes for dinner. Eggs, ham, sausages and rice with japanese things for breakfast. A recomended inn,

We had an amazing time at Ylulu. The food was exquisite! The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the service by the owners was very excellent. Beautiful location and a very nice place to stay. Will be coming back!
