This restaurant is known as the golden standard of French dishes in town which I appreciated so many times. This time I took risk to have pigeon. Well, it did not work with me. So I would suggest to be conservative in this restaurant unless you are sure about the material and cooking. Then, you will not be disappointed. Service and condition of wine were both very good. It was nice experience.

I will start with the place: Amazing. The staff and the service: Amazing as well. The dishes are VERY tiny. We ordered a vegetarian menu. The main dish was several pieces of vegetables in a soup. Something that not even fits to appetizer and when I complained about the tiny main dish I got no response from the team. The main surprise except the tax which is normal; 16% service which probably was mentioned in font 8. Check it out before. We were very disappointed and got no answers from the team. I truly recommend to put your money in a place that respects it.Dear nirk2017,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback in Azure45 and I would like to sincerely apologies about the unpleasant experience you had.Unfortunately, we did not meet your expectations, nor did we live up to the high standards of service for which we are known. We are currently working on the new menu in Azure45 and we would pay more attention for timeliness of service and quality of the food.I promise that we keep continuously training the staff to provide the higher level of service and quality of the food as The Ritz-Carlton.Thank you very much again for sharing your experience in Azure45 and we hope we will have another opportunity to be at your service soon. The Ritz-Carlton, TokyoFood and Beverage CoordinatorAnzu Kamei

LâEffervescence is a French word, which has the literal meaning such as âlivelinessâ or âbubblesâ and also includes figurative meanings such as âto make something happenâ âgive birthâ âto evolveâ and âto make people gatherâ. It is said the original meanin
This is a stylish restaurant and we love the ambience a lot. It is definitely a venue to celebrate special occasion. Unfortunately our dinner was a bit disappointing.Service was attentive but the young man who served our table spoke English with a heavy Japanese accent. It was difficult for us to get what he was telling us about the dishes and we had to refer to the menu frequently. At Narisawa, everyone spoke perfect English and it greatly enhanced the dining experience. They served only the Renaissance set menu and we did not find the food memorable. The salad was made with many kinds of vegetable prepared in different ways. They even presented a menu with the salad introducing the origin of the ingredients. The dish was similar to the signature salad we had at Den but it was not as delicious in taste nor as interesting in texture. We were told the 4 hours cooked turnip is the Chefâs signature dish. It reminded us the potato we had at Core by Clare Smyth in London not long ago. They both share the same concept of turning something simple into gourmet. Clareâs potato was out of this world and we could not have imagined a humble potato could be the star of the evening. On the other hand, the turnip was just a turnip and the flavour was underwhelming. We also did not find the apple pie #38 with prawn and goat cheese appealing. The cheese course with 3 tiny pieces of cheese was also poorly presented. Some reviewers considered the tea ceremony pretentious but we must disagree. We enjoyed the performance and it was unique and a very nice ending to the dinner.

We have visited several Robuchon restaurants (Paris, Montecarlo, Bordeaux, etc.) but it was our first visit to this restaurant. Housed in a beautiful French country chateau in the middle of Tokyo, it is exquisitely decorated inside. The dining area is on the second floor and there is a terrace on the ground floor. Service was attentive and discrete and the food, outstanding, similar or even better than in some of Robuchon's original restaurants. The chef, Michael, visited briefly with us and was delightful. This is clearly one of the very top 3-star restaurants in Tokyo. Don't miss it!

The ANA InterContinental Tokyo is home to three Michelin starred Chef Pierre Gagnaire's highest restaurant in the world. Discover his award winning contemporary French cuisine in elegant surrounds with the stunning Tokyo metropolis and Tokyo Tower as a ba
We both had set menu Blanc Carte which was only available on weekday for Â¥4,600 plus tax. The food was delicious and presentation matched the high food standard. The appetiser and entree contained 3 separate small things with distinctive and interesting flavours. We commented on the food and how sophisticated it was, the French Maitre Dâ said lunch was a bit basic compared to dinner . We just couldnât imagine how much more sophisticated it could be! The room setting was really posh and views of surrounding Roppongi area were stunning especially on a sunny day. Waitering service was a class above the rest. The Maître Dâ was extremely professional and experienced, when he picked up the empty place and saw the next dish was put down on the table, he quickly put the dirty plate behind his back i.e. out of our sight while he was explaining the next dish. He was very knowledgeable with wines and recommended a nice and suitable wine for my husband. However, the same could not be said for the restaurant receptionist. We arrived in smart casual clothes but wearing boots as we went to the fish market prior to lunch. When we arrived and before I could say anything the restaurant receptionist pointed me to the cafe next door as though we were not the type to dine at Pierre Garnaire. I told her that we had a reservation at Pierre Garnaire and she was very polite after that. We did find the incident rather amusing, surprising & disappointing especially in Japan. The restaurant being inside a hotel therefore staff should have known better that many of restaurant patrons were tourists and not always possible to turn up in their finery.Food was reasonable but wine was very expensive. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and memorable lunch credit to our Maitre Dâ.Dear Sydney2000000, Thank you for a very delightful feedback of your dining experience at Pierre Gagnaire, it is a great pleasure to know that you have enjoyed the professionalism of our team and our exclusive offerings which we pride ourselves very much upon, with certainty around an opportunity for improvement in our arrival experience. Thank you once again for your feedback, and My Team and I look forward to welcoming you back with us again for yet another memorable dining experience at dinner time next perhaps. --Best regards,Joyce ChuaFood & Beverage Manager

An excellent meal. The chestnut soup may be the best soup I've ever had in my life, rich and creamy. The entire meal was memorable, as was the excellent staff. Seating is mostly at a long counter overlooking the kitchen so you watch the staff as they prepare the meal, which not everyone enjoys. My only dissatisfaction of the evening was trying to get a taxi after the meal was over. There was one place outside where everyone waited in line for taxis to come. The wait was maybe 20-25 minutes, which was not super long, but after a long dinner waiting in the cold late at night was not so fun. Next time I would try to call and have a taxi waiting for me around the corner from the taxi line.

My partner and I were there for the Cherry blossom season and it turned out Chef. Narisawa had incorporate quite a lot of the sakura elements into his dishes. We have the sakura cocktail and it was so delicious. We were very impressed by their talented team because they definitely brings out the best of Japanese cuisine. Every single dish was prepared very diligently. Japanese element was presented in all the dishes. We were constantly Wowing all the time. Only downside was the restaurant was very noisy. Loved the experience so much, mus visit in Tokyo!
