The dream land is far away world. While a mysterious light of the candle is lit. Ladys and gentlemans become residents of the dream land. In that limited time,we will change into a smile the best of all people. That is entertainment cafe and bar "maidream
While in Tokyo, we had no intention to go to a Maid Cafe, but while walking the streets of Akihabara one night, we were corralled in by one of the reps on the street. I'm sure there are several Maid Dreaming cafes in Akihabara, but at this one we had to take an elevator to the top floor. The place was small and dimly lit. There were a couple of other foreigners as well as a handful of drunk Japanese men. The most disappointing part of the experience is that it just felt like a cash grab.We paid for the photo op, but we spent 10 minutes trying to capture our maid's attention to get the photo when we were ready to leave. It just wasn't what I expected from a maid cafe.

Finding Gluten-free in Japan can be challenging. I was happy to learn about this place from my research that I had a few options while in Tokyo. My husband, myself, and a friend stopped here for dinner. The menu I found was amazing in indicating food allergies. It made ordering a breeze for me.Most of the food was either a hit or a miss. I would recommend the shrimp and vegetables tempura, cajun fried chicken bites (AMAZING), sukiyaki, and of course sake to drink. The misses were ramen, marinated mushrooms, and yakisoba. Overall a great place for those who have allergies or intolerance. It is an easy place to bring your family members. It is on the smaller side so can be busy at times.

A wide selection of simple tasty food - this hotels cafe is a small gem hidden in Tokyo. We went there to get gluten free food due to my daughters allergy - and they only have a green salad. This is Sakura Hotel Jimbocho. Thank you for your review and comment. When it comes to food, it is true that gluten free menu is likely to be quite limited. However, we have various of kinds of drink menu as well and it would be highly appreciated if you stop by for tea break or in any occasion when you come to Jimbocho again. Thank you.

This was my first visit to a maid cafe so I wasn't sure what to expect. The decor here is fascinating if a little creepy (it's a very gothic look). The maids were friendly and performed an amusing ritual to make the food and drinks taste better. Perhaps it worked - my matcha parfait was delicious.

Maid cafe
Visited as part of a group, you wear cat ears and have different drinks, strange place to visit but most enjoyable and would visit again if chance arose.

Nice Western-style breakfast near Asakusa metro station. Somewhat inefficient but friendly service (waited for 15 minutes for a table even though several tables were available). Decent avocado toast (bread not toasted though). Nice coffee and great croissant. Overall I recommend this place if you do not want sushi for breakfast and want to experience a pleasant twist to a traditional western brekkie.
