I was doing a bit of shopping on the 4th floor of the Passagio and decided to go inside for lunch. If first impressions are important then the welcome smile and attention that I got from Izumi as she greeted me at the entrance was a great bit of customer care.The menu was mostly around red meat which you grill in the middle of the table. I had a spicy soup and selection of meat and vegetables to grill. The meal was great. The service fantastic.The bill was reasonable considering that I had a couple of beers as well.. It was about 2000 Yen. I will certainly go there again. The only thing that you have go watch out for is that they are open for lunch from 11.00 am till 3pm,.then from 5.00pm till 11.00pm. It would be ok for a business lunch too, if you happen to be in that area..

Excellent barbecue, there's a menu in English, with less options, so do cross-check with original Japanese menu. Service is kind, as always in Japan. You should not miss the horse steak tartar, in addition to a whole plethora of beef cuts for the grill. Beer is kind of ..."meh...", but it does not matter. This is the ultimate Japanese barbecue experience. And be prepared to toss your clothes into the washing machine straight as you come back home, smelling like a smoking shed.
