We planned to have dinner at the Grill after our spa treatment but we arrived a bit late and the Grill was closing shortly. We were suggested to dine at the Lounge where the operating hour is longer. The lounge served an all day menu of salad and sandwiches as well as some Japanese items. We tried the foie gras terrine with mango puree and the Japanese sirloin steak sandwich. Food was okay and service was good. There was live music playing in the evening and the ambience was lovely. A nice place for drinks and snacks. Dear ryu0803 Warm greetings from Andaz Tokyo. I was drawn to the place based on the reviews. Well, I don't think I'd go again to be honest. The food was okay, the artsy surrounding was nice, but there was little to nothing to bring me back. I found the layout of the place confusing, while when you enter, you are really not sure if shown to the table, where are the servers etc. That aside I think my biggest issue was horrible ventilation. You sit there and feel like being fried yourself. Not because of the heat, more like the oil in the air and smell of burn as no matter what, if you let bunch of tourists prepare Okonomiyaki, they burn stuff a bit (me included). Neither of other restaurants I experienced had this issue. So perhaps sitting somewhere else within the restaurant would help. Like this, not too thrilled...Thank you for writing the review. Okonomiyaki is a food unique to Japan, so some people don't fit it. Thanks for coming

This place is very popular with tourists. We thought that dinner here was ok, but not great. We would have liked more variety. There was no seafood which was curious. Also the prices were high for what you got. Interestingly westerners were seated around the cooking area while Japanese people were seated in other rooms or away from the cooking area. They use real charcoal instead of gas which is authentic but the whole cooking experience creates a great deal of smoke which isn't completely removed by the fans.Thank you for coming to the restaurant. We are Yakitori âmeat skewersâ restaurant and focused on grilled meats and variety of dishes that go well with drinks. All guests can take any seats if they have a request to have particular seats they want at that time or make a reservation for where they want to be seated. We are so sorry for the smoke and not giving the best experience with us. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts.

EXCELLENT What an amazing experience - every time!!!It surely is in my top 10 list of restaurants and I always go when I am in Japan. I can not decide which dish is my favorite, I loved them all from abalone to Kobe beef.What I enjoyed most was the way the chef grilled the garlic :-)

In the middle of Azabujuban this « crafted « cooking style is proposing a menu based on vegetables ingredients (not specially vegetarian). Menu is not fully furnished of plates but theyâre simple, colorful and tasty for a really affordable price. Will come back to lunch there for sure.

Came here with my family. They have a set menu that only includes beef teppanyaki. Since we donât eat beef we had to order ala carte was very good. We had the nigiri, chicken teriyaki, two fish dishes and the udon. Each were delicious. However... they forgot to bring my rice, soup and pickles, never poured our sake - I had to ask for them to pour my husband (Iâm not precious - the way we were sitting across the hot table made it difficult short of standing up and bringing him the carafe), only refilled our water glasses once, spilled on me and just generally forgot about us until I asked for the check. You canât charge that price point for food and totally forget about your customers. Thank you for you dine with us.Unfortunately, you were not comfortable our service that so apologized.They do not on purpose about that, however made your feel unhappy.We will train hard to good quality service.Thank you for your honesty comments.

We came because of the good recensions and we didn't regret.The place is really cool.A big variety of beef organs and meet, drinks and all you can eat in a very nice environment.Just bring appetite and you will be rewarded.Prices are good. Staff really polite.We will definitely come back the next days.
