Is this going to be the best meal you'll have in Tokyo? Hopefully not but it will be a good, satisfying meal, served quickly with friendly staff. Our Excellent Tendon Donburi was very well cooked, crisp and tender. Loved all of it. 690 yen. Can't beat it. Can get better for sure, but not at that price.

A nice place with well-trained staff. Interesting experience with cooking. I wish we had known that we could ask for more meat, then everything would have been even more than excellent.ХоÑоÑое меÑÑо Ñ Ð²ÐµÐ¶Ð»Ð¸Ð²Ñми оÑиÑианÑами. We stayed near Tokyo Solamachi while in Tokyo so this was one of the restaurants we had to try. We went there for the first time on a Sunday, about 1/2 hour before it opened and there was already a long line that went around the corner and wound back to the front. We waited about 1 1/2 hours before the 4 of us were seated at the counter. My husband and younger son are vegetarian so they mostly ordered the Japanese omelette sushi (tamagoyaki) and cucumber rolls (kappamaki). My older son and I tried many of the different nigiri but our favorites were the various salmon and tuna sushi. The cuts of raw fish are thicker and larger than anything we've had in the US. And the prices are really cheap (130 yen for the vegetarian dishes and between 290 yen and 630 yen for the fish and more exotic dishes). You can also make your own cups of green tea free of charge. Every 15 minutes or so, the chefs would call out a special priced dish holding a tray of them and you can try those if you want. Also, if a dish you want isn't circulating on the conveyor belt, you can write the number on a order form and give it to a chef for them make it special for you! At the end of your meal, the waitresses come by and scan the stacks of dishes and print out a bill for you to pay at the entrance. Our first meal cost around US $50 for the 4 of us! Obviously a lot of those were the cheapest white dishes but that was really cheap for a sushi meal. We loved the restaurant so much that we came back the next evening where the wait was about 40 minutes. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again!

Service: ++Food: -Atmosphere: +Location: +Price: -Wifi: unknown We were feeling adventurous that evening, wanting to try new things in a nice genuine place with local food and sittings (you can choose the ground or the chairs). The atmosphere and the service are impressive. If like us you can't read Japanese, you will base your choice on the pictures. We did and we were not convinced by the taste... Hard to say if it was because we are not used to it or if it was actually not that good. Besides that, it can quickly become expensive since the portions are small and the rice is not included.m

This place always has a line and youâll need to be prepared to wait but itâs worth it! Whilst the beef is served rare, you cook it over a stone grill to the level you desire. Even the small serve is reasonably big and you can moderate the amount of sauce etc that you want. If youâre in the area, definitely try this place but just expect to line up.

Japanese Dining & Bar. Enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine and drinks in the heart of Asakusa, Tokyo! Bilingual staffs and English menus are available. You can also purchase various traditional products that are very suitable for souvenirs.
Stopped by after visiting the Pagoda of Senjosi around the corner. The lady who owns the restaurant is so friendly! She was telling us about her recent move back to Japan from New York. Great lunch proportions and drink menu. No waiting either!

SometarÅ which is located in an unair-conditioned historic, vine-covered house and specializes in traditional Japanese dishes. There is only tatimi seating, and they only take cash. The menu is really quite varied, and offers a number of âsetsâ as well, though we were never able to quite figure out what the sets included. On the menu is Yakisoba, described as chow mein; Tepanyaki; and Okonomi-Yaki. In addition the menu had directions on how to cook Okonomi-Yaki, Shumai-ten, Anko-maki, Gomoku-Yaki and Osome-yaki. We ordered Okonomi-Yaki, the Gomokuten with steamed cuttlefish, steamed shrimp, egg, cabbage, minced meat (beef and pork, bits of fried batter left after cooking tempura (squid) Â¥870; and, Gyuuten with minced meat (beef & pork), cabbage, egg, sliced beef Â¥870. Our dishes were very good, and neither of us would have been able to eat more, but both of us would have liked to try some of the other dishes. The restaurant is relatively small, and there was a line at 11:45 AM (before the noon opening). Since each table cooks their own food, should one miss the first "seating," the wait for an available table could be an hour or so, but it is worth the wait.

We wanted an early dinner. Nothing too extensive. This was 300m from our hotel and had great reviews in TA. We turned up, queued for about 10 mins then sat at the bar with a beer each, a bowl of ramen each and chicken gyozas - the best weâve tasted yet. All done in about an hour for under 30â¬. Canât be beaten. Cash only. Fully recommend the great food and lovely chefs. Gracias por visitar nuestra tienda Gracias por su excelente evaluación y cumplidos. Esperamos verte de nuevo.

Everything about the experience was excellent -- the food, the staff (who are also the performers) and the Japanese shamisen music! This is a short walk from Asakusa, where the Sensoki or Asakusa Kannon Temple is located. The restaurant is off the beaten track and so worth it!
