Reviewed By Mareen MVery nice looking hotel, beautiful presented from outside. Unfortunately the bathroom had a horrible smell and it was not clean, the room wasn't hoovered either. Room itself lovely view and good size. No black tea on a Sunday morning available, half cut rolls for breakfast, probably from another table before. The restaurant was great, delicious dinner, great food. All in all not good value for money

Not a gastronomic experience I would want to repeat
Reviewed By Wander276505I found the 539 Danish Kronor charged for a very mediocre three course meal extremely poor value and certainly not a pleasant gastronomic experience. We also had to remind the serving staff as they seemed to have forgotten to serve our main course. Caveat Emptor!

Low value for money
Reviewed By nefertitia2020Location is great because is a lot of nature and sand and beach. However the apartment we were allocated was BASIC. The small bed for two people is by the door with useless blinds that don´t cover the light coming in at all, the bathroom was small and dark with a shower head that splashed water everywhere, you could literally have a shower while using the toilet. Only one little pocket size hand soap for two and to sachets small, for shower, well it was ok for one night. The tv has mostly german channels and a couple of danish ones, well...we can live with that. The kitchen had one of the wooden cupboard doors almost falling down and we didn´t try the microwave or the coffee machines (by the way, the water boiler was dirty!). Dishes and forks were there and glasses. The walls are so thin you can hear the neighbours as if they were inside! I can not imagine what this place is like in summer. There were many empty appartments around but they decided to occupy what it seem the only two next to each other. During the night the older couple next door had some FUN and woke me up with screams, I thought they were having a hart attack, but I guess they had fun. Honestly, it is not a place to stay more then 2 days and certainly not up to standards. Will not return to this one.

Dejligt B&B
Reviewed By heidiv245Vi havde to dejlige overnatninger her. To voksne og to børn på to værelser på første salen. Dejligt store værelser i gennemført “gammel dansk” stil til en rigtig fin pris. Der var rent og pænt. Badeværelset var delt, men en smuk oplevelse og der var masser af rene håndklæder. Der var kolde drikkevarer og snacks til salg og morgenmaden til 75kr var lige som den skulle være. Vores søde vært var behjælpelig med at guide os til de steder vi gerne ville se. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Nice place with lot of space!
Farm stay with pros and cons
Reviewed By Nicolai WHohenwarte is a family-run farm stay on the danish-german border. Its main feature is a wide range of animals: Horses, donkeys, rabbits, ducks, pigs, sheep and raccoons. The family room we stayed in had place for four in a double bed and a bunk bed. A fridge and a kettle was the room's amenities. The room had its own shower, and though everything was clean it was heavily used. The standard was that of a hostel, though linen was provided. It was a little difficult to find out about the layout of the place and the activities, since the reception staff didn't make any effort to introduce us. So we went exploring on our own. Breakfast and other meals were served mess hall-style in the same room as the reception or on a long table outside the reception. The owner's three dogs roamed around the yard just outside the reception area. One of the dogs even visited us in our room. The playground and the animal cages were worn down and neglected and some of the toys obviously needed repair. The trampolin though was new and the kids loved playing and petting the animals. Overall we felt that the place was more for regulars, who knew the owners and wanted to hang out with them. A better introduction would have made us fell less estranged. Regarding the price you can find better and cheaper accomodation elsewhere in the area.

One night stay
Reviewed By Jan_BrunsHad booked a small appartment for 3, but on the day my wife and kid where ill. We where going to a friends 50th birthday, so I went alone. The first thing that happend was that they offered me a smaller room, for a cheaper price. Which for me is just excellent service. The breakfast was reasonable. The room itself was somewhat worn, and relatively small. 4 stars due to the room being worn. Everything else was ok, and I would stay here again.
