Found this new bar walking from the train station to the bridge and temple area. Only been open since January. Great craft ales; we had the stout/porter, pale ale and corn ale. All made by the owner at the back of the bar area. Nice guy who wanted a photo of us for his wall collection. if you pass the bar on the way to visit the temple just stop in and enjoy!Thank you !!!

Where to eat Sushi food in Nikko: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We feasted on rice and grilled skewers selected from a wealth of choices that include meats, seafood, vegetables, and even ginkgo nuts. The scallop and pork loin were particularly good. The menu also offers soups, steaks, and many side dishes. This "beer restaurant" does not brew beer but does have a wider selection than most otherwise comparable Japanese restaurants: the selection includes about 14 international brews and some locals.
