This was a great spot to sit here and enjoy breakfast after landing in the airport. The non-vegetarian menu was extensive. It seems the grill for cooking the ham sausages is the same as that for cooking the eggs and chicken sausages as well as the potatoes they have available. As such, it is NOT a good option to eat here if you do not eat PORK.There was minimal options for a lacto-vegetarian. I had to basically pull apart the menu myself to find an option. The waitress was not knowledgeable about the menu and had to go back and forth to the kitchen to find out. The service was horrible as we had to wait more than an hour to get our food. The staff is not accommodating and definitely not polite or friendly. I ordered 2 drinks and did not receive it but it was added to my bill. When I informed the waitress of the mistake she did not sort it out herself, I had to leave my table and go to the cashier to sort this mistake of theirs. Overpriced menu. The machine that adds the points to the loyalty card was not working so I had to lose out on a substantial amount of points. This place can be so much more if they are staffed properly.

You must make a point of eating here while you are in Tobago! This is excellent cuisine at a price much more affordable than nearby competitors. This is a small restaurant and you must make a reservation to eat here. They are not opened at night on Mondays and Tuesdays but do serve lunch.Chezelle and her mother opened the restaurant about 5 years ago and Kerry is a recent addition. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and asked about making a reservation. Unfortunately there was nothing available prior to our leaving Tobaga but Kerry said, "Can you come tonight at 7pm? and Do you like Shrimp?" We thought they were fully booked for the evening and were fitting us in. It turns out they had not planned on being open but stayed open just for the 2 of us.Kerry cooked a Shrimp Pasta dish for us. Mine was in a tomato sauce with roasted tomatoes and my husband's was in an Alfredo sauce. The dish was Chef Worthy and the flavors were delicious! Kerry told us that he had flambeed the 16 (8 each) Jumbo Shrimp using rum as well!! When we finished dinner and realized that we were the only people in the restaurant, we thought we should leave so that the owners could go on and enjoy Sunday School down the road. They asked us to stay and visit a while - my husband had the homemade ice cream for dessert and I had another glass of wine. This place is meticulous! There is an interestingly lit waterfall that creates a lovely ambiance for your dining experience. Be sure to go here! You will love it.We are extremely pleased that you had a fabulous time. Looking forward to welcoming you in the near future. Team Cafe Down Low

Enjoyed a nice lunch with my two sons. One is a vegetarian and they had no problem taking care of him. Good fish salad, sandwiches, local veggies, and drinks.

My parents and I went for wine and gelato. We sat outside and was then told that we should go inside to order, so we did. My dad ordered a glass of wine and we sat outside and waited and waited and waited. I had enough time to finish my gelato and we waited some more, but the staff was too engulfed with their conversation inside to remember the order. Soon after one of the servers came and said "you ordered a wine?" to which we said don't worry about the wine, we'll just like the bill.Don't think I'll be returning there.

Stumbled across good eats when searching for a light lunch in Tobago. A small, cosy cafe which I would definitely recommend. The service was great and good efficiently but freshly prepared. You can also ask for smaller portions if you have a small appetite - winner all round. Thanks again!
