This was a wonderful surprise in town, a hidden jewel in the area! The place is lovely decorated, perfectly clean and well maintained. The food was great, wonderful soups, exquisit salads and perfect meat (try the Barbacoa de Picaña), the service is better than expected and the prices are just in the right balance! I will definitely go back with family and friends.I highly recommend this place for Mexicans and foreigners looking for an excellent place to eat, go and try it, you wont regret!
Leña y Olivo offers a new proposal of food and drinks in the state of Tlaxcala, our cuts and gourmet cuisine are the anchor of the restaurant, having as main essence the oven and grill.
While visiting family in Tlaxcala we visited Lena & Olivo for breakfast. We were greeted by a friendly staff. Service was outstanding and the Chilaquiles were outstanding. Great variety of coffees, from americano, lattes and cappuccino to french press. On our next trip to Tlaxcala we are definitely coming back to try dinner.

This place has very good stakes, but what I loved the most is that it has a huge garden, so you feel like your outside of the city on a camping site, but I would still consider it down town because it's just a couple of blocks away from the main park. You can sit indoors or out, but always with a roof over your head in case it rains or to block the sun rays.
