Huamantla (Spanish [wama'ntla] (help·info)) is a small city in Huamantla Municipality located in the eastern half of the Mexican state of Tlaxcala. The area has a long indigenous history, but the city itself was not founded until the early colonial period, in the 1530s. It is mostly agricultural but it is best known for its annual homage to an image of the Virgin Mary called Our Lady of Charity. This includes a month of festivities, the best known of which are the “night no one sleeps” when residents create six km of “carpets” on the streets made from colored sawdust, flowers and other materials. The other is the “Huamantlada” a running of the bulls similar to that in Pamplona.

Excelente atención,precio,comida, servicio, carta con comida del lugar, no lo veo muy recomendado en este portal seguramente porque no lo conocen ,Yo lo recomiendo ampliamente, no dejen de probar los escamoles ,el mole ,los tlacoyos, todo muy sabroso ,

La comida es rica hay variedad de platillos y todo lo preparan al momento. La ensalada buena aunque le falto un poco de queso. La pizza abundante aunque le falto dorar más la pasta. Recomendable.

Cute little place but no balconies! The food more mad up for it! I had the Pechuga Azteca and my wife had the Medula soup, bother were delicious! Service was excellent! Great coffee!

Tratando de emular el ambiente de los dinners de los 50 en USA, este pequeño restaurante ubicado enfrente de la central de autobuses sirve malteadas, hamburguesas y sándwiches con buen sabor y mejores precios. Buena opción si andas en Huamantla.

We stopped to take a look of the Hacienda and we decided to have a meal there, that was an excellent decision. We ordered mole and pechuga al pulque. Both dishes were super tasty, the flavors so complex, mashed sweet potatoes was delicious, the special recipes of " La More". We really enjoyed it. Everything at the menu looks appealing. The staff was friendly. Its a small place. Music according the environment. The prices are reasonable. The only bad thing it was, the waiter never showed us the wine menu. Highly recommended.

I have stayed here twice. This 400+ year old hacienda is as authentic as they come. Peaceful and tranquil. Very pleasant staff. They take excellent care of you. The food here is fabulous!! All that I could eat. This food is REAL Mexican food. These same owners had a restaurant in downtown Huamantla - Casa de los Magueyes. It too was an excellent place to eat. They have moved this restaurant to the hacienda now. The name of the restaurant at the hacienda is Casa de los Magueyes Tecoac. Either come here just to eat or come and take a relaxing stay here and enjoy excellent meals.Gracias por tus comentarios!! Esperamos verlos nuevamente por acá.
