I do wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the hospitality and room. Breakfast will keep you full till dinner! Highly recommended for those in the area looking for extraordinary hospitality, comfort, and authenticity.

An authentic experience of Morocco
Reviewed By Sandi PIf you want to get a feel for how Moroccans traditionally live, than there is no better place than this Riad, e.g., rooms encircling an open space. Each of the rooms and the common areas have been carefully curated to give the traveler a visceral experience of the beauty, color, shapes, designs, etc. that are the hallmark of what makes Morocco such an enduring destination. If you like 'new', than this is not the place for you. If you appreciate culture and tradition than you have found a home in the true sense of that word. I have done a lot of traveling in Morocco and this Riad is rare and remarkably affordable. Staying here will be an experience that you will carry with you for a long time to come. Both Aicha and Mustapha, the owners, are gentle, exceedingly helpful, gracious and seemingly always available! They can help you with what to see, price checks on items you might want to buy, history of the area and just general interesting conversation. Plus they make the best cafe au lait I've had in Morocco, and WiFi is readily available! Being a nervous sort, I was concerned about getting to the right grand taxi place when it was time to leave. Mustapha actually drove me to it. It is hard to find that kind of hospitality and kindness in our world today. The Riad is located down the street from a main square. As a solo traveler I appreciated this because I so easily get lost in Moroccan medinas. I never worried if I would be able to find my way back. Being in the medina itself also contributed to an experience of life as it is lived by Moroccans today and in the past. You walk not just past shopkeepers, but those who supply the shops with handmade goods like shoes and clothing. One other thing I really appreciated about Tiznit in general is the lack of pressure to buy. For the first time since I've been in Morocco I could relax, take my time, look at things without the constant pressure to make a purchase. I do plan to return to Tiznit and I feel as if I have made two friends there. I am so grateful to have discovered this Riad and Aicha and Mustapha. You will be too!

Moroccan Hospitality At Its Best

Abdelkrim and his team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, and we enjoyed it immensely. The Riad itself is very close to the Medina, but tucked away on a quite side street. It's close to everything in the old city. While the location was great, and the room was modern and very comfortable, it is the superb customer service that will keep us coming back to this location. We recommend it highly.

Reviewed By U6887HFmartinhAlthough the owner was welcoming and friendly (albeit all in French which I sometimes struggled to understand, the room itself (Beige Room) was not great. Toilet was on the same floor, but in the reception area and the shower was upstairs. My room was also next to the host's living area so I often heard music and other noise. The bed was very firm, but I like that. Breakfast was very basic, coffee, juice and pastries.

Reviewed By babylassMy friend and I walked into this hotel and the owner went out of his way, way and above the ordinary to book us a room. the hotel was full and I understand why very shortly. Upon entering the hotel it is very clean, neat and tidy and well decorated. I am a hotel owner myself and knows what it takes to keep up a hotel and I see the manager personally attending to the guest and he spent time with us making us feel comfortable. I observed how they did business and all of them, his crew and the owner himself are truly professional. The room we got was with two single beds and it was top notch and euro style quality bathroom, sinks and shower wonderful. The bed is comfortable. We were only going to spend one night but ended up spending three. Needless to say I went back about a week later with another friend and was happy to get a room there. This time we got a room with a double bed and it too was super clean and bed was comfy. There was another hotel in the middle of the square that seemed as if it would be nicer hotel but though that one is bigger you cannot get the personal attention there as here at this hotel Al Amal. It is right on the main road near bus, near CTM bus station and taxi stand too. it is also very close to the main square and easy walk everywhere. There is also a restaurant of the same name and you would not believe the service. It was truly awesome. I finally told the owner that I too was in the hotel business and I asked him how could he let his rooms for such a low price because the quality is far superior for I could clearly see that this was way more value than what he is charging. The other hotel was charging almost double what he was charging all because their place is bigger. Well i think that is the reason. Truly this is the best deal in Tiznit. I wish this owner the best because I see how hard he is working being there almost 24 hours

Reviewed By Pelican17Nous avons passé 5 nuits pour 3 personnes et un bébé. L'accueil cordial et le check in rapide. La salle de bain est grande et propre. La chambre est spacieuse, la literie est bonne par contre on aurait aimé davantage d'effort concernant les draps et les couvertures. Le prix est correct par rapport à la prestation. Pâtisserie/café et snack en bas très pratique. Nous y reviendrons.

What an experience, fantastic neighbours (both directly and all along the coast to town) invited in for tea by multiple locals and became friends with our fantastic fishermen neighbours! What a beautiful place, beautiful people, gorgeous food and a simply stunning way to experience South Marocco! Definitely thinking of returning next year, if you want to experience the beauty of this coast, where the locals relax by the sea, this is the place - 5 star
