Things to do in Tivoli

This restaurant is an extraordinary place. Staff are all focused on making certain that customers are well cared for while they dine. Though we didn't order an appetizer, we wish we had when we saw the wonderful seafood plate presented to a nearby table. A small plate of complimentary appetizers was a nice way to start our meal. The pasta, tagliatelle with a meat sauce, was perfectly prepared. Next course was calamarro served with a beautiful small salad and roasted potatoes. Everything was prepared and served expertly. This restaurant is more upscale than many in Tivoli, though they maintain a warm and comfortable environment. Wish we had stayed longer in Tivoli so that we could return. More expensive than some other restaurants in town, but great value. A special place!

Just outside the town and close to the Villa Gregoriana Park Royal Lakes is a must for anyone who has visited the waterworks of the famous Villas of Tivoli. The perfect destination after a day trip to Tivoli and in the territory of the Aniene Valley. A park of about five hectares, born as a place for recreation and relaxation, the precursor of the current Farm, in the countryside of the Aniene Valley, numerous pools, two beautiful lakes fed exclusively with un'impianto Aniene water, you can imagine what that the Romans realizzavano in the villas of our territory. In fact one of the reasons why they chose Tivoli for their residences was right for the hearty Aniene water. Between the two lakes, a restaurant, run by more than 30 years, first by Victor and Teresa, then by their children, with an asso respecting tradition but attentive to the new needs, where the genuineness and authenticity of family management are not lost. The kitchen offers: Km0 menu with the Company's fish farm of the park with Companies products of the Aniene Valley, but also: sea fish, truffles, porcini mushrooms, grilled seconds, pasta and homemade desserts, provided cellar with special attention to wines of the Lazio. ervice and Kitchen are taken care of by the owners thanks to their thirty years of experience to offer customers: Very interesting to visit the baths of breeding and taste the km0 menu, where, in addition to the trout Trout, salmon trout, shrimp, eels and eels, you can discover the main product of the Aniene Valley, the Brown Trout, an indigenous fish, precisely known since antiquity.
We had been staying in Tivoli and wanted to get out of town. Ristorante Laghi die Reali was perfect, overlooking a trout pond with a light breeze, feeling like you were miles away. We were offered all sorts of trout, fresh, smoked, with pasta and...MoreGrazie !!!

Avec 55, a family owened restaurant created by Raoul Reperi. It is a unique place where tradition quality and creativity, make a traditional Mediterranean cusine with a modern twist, perfect choice for enyoing terroir cusine, carefully selected local ingredients prepared in innovative style.
Our hotel recommended this restaurant and we are so glad they did. Everything was beyond what we expected. A quiet Sunday night and the chef explained all his dishes to the point I wanted to try them all! We found the setting romantic and the menu pricing very fair. Especially for what you were served. I urge all to try the risotto served on a slate plate. Beautiful as well as delicious. We even took photos of our courses and honestly, we do not do that on a regular basis. Excellent!!

The restaurant has beautiful decor and tje food was delicious. I had the carciofi alla Romana ( artichoke roman style) and seafood spaghetti. It was absolutely fabulous. This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide and it was well worth the visit. I have put some pictures below so judge for yourself. I wish you could smell the pictures. It is just around the corner from Ville D'Este. You can sit in or eat outside in the piazza. I do recommend this restaurant.

Small and cozy dining room with air conditioning and ample parking. Bright, quiet, away from the busy city with a large Terrace surrounded by green hills where you can relax in the summer. Local reported by many food guides: Gambero Rosso, Bibenda, FUORICASELLO, etc.. For the quality of raw materials, service and room for the warmth and pleasantness of the environment. Wide selection of wines, beers, spirits, oils and vinegars; use of raw materials fresh and of high quality as well as a variety of Slow Food gastronomic delights and Italian.
We were so impressed with the lunch we had at Osteria la Briciola. Clearly the host cares deeply about offering his diners a culinary experience and not just a meal. Several lovely seafood offerings. The cheese plate was delightful and well presented for tasting and discernment. The local wine recommended was extraordinary and reasonably priced. Everything from the antipasto to the desert was out of the ordinary and simply delicious. Combined with the really very fine service, this made for a truly memorable meal. If I have to find one improvement I would suggest they put together their own mix tape of music that matches the quality of their food. What was playing, however, was innocuous and didn't detract from our enjoyment.

A very good and big bread roll of our choice with typical Italian delicacies. The experience and familiar atmosphere reflects the quality of the panino. It is a good value for money and prominent for its bread with a difference. One nig portion serves 2 people.

Dal mese di marzo il menu' sara' prevalentemente a base di pesce con scaqrichi giornalieri
Had a meal on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was quiet and the staff attentive.
Menus are hand written and focus on either fish or meat. Prices are average. Portion size was a little mean which never gives the best impression. The restaurant is more of a shabby chic establishment rather than fine dining and it would be good to be a little more generous with the offerings. I have rated as very good but to be honest would likely look elsewhere if ever in Tivoli again, which clearly says something.

We had an excellent and reasonably price meal here during our stay at a nearby hotel. The Sicilian desserts are scrumptuous, and the wine list is quite complete. The neighborhood is modern and rather charmless, but who's looking. The maitre d' (owner?) was gracious and full of good recommendations.

Nice cute little restaurant specialized on cooking fish at the mediterrean way.But anyway meat is also served by special local dishes. You Will enjoy the unique atmosfere eating surranded by famous old roman paintings.Carmine, the owner,Will take care of you and make your evening unforgetteble !!!!
We were promptly seated and staff was welcoming. We were ordering wine, but were not offered a wine menu. We got a liter of the house wine. Satisfactory, but not special. We ordered a bean and seafood dish to share for an appetizer. From the menu, it was not apparent that it was a soup. It was served to us in a single bowl with one spoon, and 2 flat plates were put in front of each of us. It was actually quite tasty, but challenging to share and eat. The restaurant manager noticed our dilemma and brought us an extra spoon. Just a clumsy way to start the dinner. We had a fried seafood entree and pasta dish. Both satisfactory but not memorable. For dessert we ordered cheesecake and were frankly disappointed. It was made neither with marscapone nor ricotta but was instead made with cream and Philadelphia cream cheese. Not at all what we expected. A better description by the waiter when it was offered, would have helped.
