When we walked in and the restaurant was full including big groups heart sank as I assumed service would be slow and sloppy. Couldn't have been more wrong. Service was excellent. Very attentive and non pushy. Everything timed perfectly. Food was excellent with very generous portions. Will definitely be back but if you go on a weekend night I'd recommend you book in advance.

Perfect for takeaways but you can also eat there. Lacking a little atmosphere but a great place to take the kids where I know they will clear the plates. Very friendly service.

Once inside you forget that you are in the middle of a random carpark between burger King and a forgotten movie theater. The place is very lively with separate bar /restaurant area. The staff were very Friendly and helpful - the kind of service you remember.
Food came within a reasonable time and all enjoyed their meals. Steak was actually cooked as ordered which is a 'rare' find these days. Only issue was that the tables were a bit cramped. Overall a very good experience.

We ate on a Saturday evening, when restaurant would have been half full. Staff attentive and pleasant, but service quite slow. We had to send back our 2nd Asahi as it was tepid at best, compared to the 1st one that was excellent. Food very good especially the raw fish

What a lovely place! So quaint. The food was very good, beautifully presented and reasonably in price. The service was very efficient and friendly. The only thing bringing the establishment down which is a small thing was the hand written specials on bond paper. Just not a great finishing touch - they should stick to their writing cardboard display at the counter. Otherwise very nice!

Musashi offers a well blend of Japanese fusion cuisine, good service and value-for-money dining experience in Auckland. We take a positive approach to fusing traditional dishes with healthy ingredients, renewing its menu with each season. Check out our current menu for more detailed descriptions of our tasty dishes. Hope to see you soon!
Musashi is our favourite restaurant in Auckland. We've actually had to make a point of going to other restaurants otherwise we'd always be in musashi. Friendly staff, amazingly authentic and tasty food, awesome ambience, reasonable pricing (The $15 lunch deal is a steal) Can't fault them.

Came for a dinner with family. Was very impressed with the friendly service. All the food we ordered was very delicious and fresh. Highlights were the steak with blue butter sauce, the beef tagine, creme caramel & amazing chocolate fondant. So good. Would highly recommend for a great meal with family.

Who would of thought such a relaxed venue could possibly be in a busy Mall amongst other rival Rst.’s.
As soon as you enter the sensual marinades overwhelms you the taste buds start to celibate in your mouth. The mind only can imagine how good that piece of meat tastes mmmmmm!
As we looked over the Menu iwe found it easy to troll through and if your not sure the Staff are happy to describe the Menu choices.
Between the 4 of us we order starters the bread Mac cheese bites mashed potatoes calamari and prawn sticks within less than 30mins we were downing each these happily. For our mains
We decided to share the Large Platter and a ceasar salad just because... so we had at least some greens to compliment the platter.
Besides the rib stack everything else was amazing
So scrummy and delightful.
Ok so to end the meal we all had desserts and we all had the lime key pie which was sexsational LoL
So going back to ribs as much as the sauce marinade was sooooo good the ribs were chewy and dry. But other than that everything else was eye popping amazing especially the pulled pork and mash potatoes.
The whole experience was great and we left with our belly’s full.
We thought it was a reasonable night out dinning for 4 paying a bill of $220 including 4 cokes 2 wines and 2 beers.
Great place for family, large work groups, friends or even a romantic date... you know what they say about meat it comes in every form and size

With the choice of several excellent cafes in this location, The Fringe has some competition to be unique. The food has always been good here, especially the generous breakfast with a view over the Waitakeres to Huia. On a clear day it is wonderful if you can get a window seat.
We would like to see something done about the decor which still doesn't have that homely feeling you need. It's nice to have a Kent fire but perhaps some cane furniture, old sofas, more art or plants, or something that gives it an edge would bring it into a new light for me. Just a bit stark. But for a good feed you can't go wrong.

Located on the main street of Titirangi.
Plenty of parkings around and easy to be found. I thought it was a real treehouse cafe at the first time, but it is not, quite disappointing. The food is average, but you get to surrounded by trees, although there are leafs dropping all the time, be aware of your drinks! The price is reasonable, and the staffs are friendly. Worth a try if you drive by or live around the area.
