Brasserie Flo is a French restaurant based in the Italian quarter of Tianjin. On the night we went the restaurant was fully booked, and as we had not booked we didn't think we would be able to eat there that night. However, the restaurant reorganised another group (they were given a VIP room) to enable us to dine there. This is not a cheap option restaurant, but well well worth spending the money for a special evening. The service was exceptional, food excellent. We all had something different and each meal was superb. As the Mother In Law - I was given a bouquet of meringues and sponges on a stick, which was rather special.The ambience is lovely, relaxed and there is absolutely no rush, or push for you to eat up and go.A special treat place definitely.Thank you for dropping us a lovely comment here and we are glad you and your family have a joyous night with us and we will share this review with the staff as a motivation for them to push harder to strive to be better.

Had the pleasure of having lunch here over the weekend with some friends. Actually it was a blue sky day, which was awesome! Had a really great lunch here. High quality food and wine. Friendly staff. Very intimate. They have inside and outside seating. Was too windy for outside though. Beautiful views of Tianjin. What can I say... I've been out of Tianjin last 2 years then when i back I checked all the places for dinne around with really bad experiences, China in general and Tianjin in particular expected a bad change regarding western food restaurants probably caused by the reduced amounts of expats live in there now, then when i found Maia's place it was like discover a diamond.The food was excellence, really home made french style food cooked by Maia herself. Im Spanish but i can say this food really remember me the food i can eat at home with my family, that is easy to say but difficult to perfom, remember we are talking of Tianjin...Service perfect, some dishes served by Maia and also by the staff of waitress, the restaurant capacity is not too many then that made the personal treat is warraned each visit and you always can have a little chat with Maia about the food or about whatever you want.The place, Little hidden place, sometimes difficult to spot in Shanggu even with the address at hand, but I can say the new place its quite big and more pretty than before then i think also is a good improve. By my point of view, now, Maia place is the best quality/Price in Tianjin with really competitive menus and with the warrant of homemade food is served on your plate, then what else can a say... a must to visit if you are in Tianjin.

The restaurant is in Italian Street Show. For the lunch you have a menu for 80Y. The food is very tasty, the service is good, unless the always english language utopy. Forget speak in english even in one tourist restaurant. However, the restaurant is very beautiful and exquisite. You will not regreat if you choose this restaurant. The badroom is China badroom.
