Your ticket to celebrating life the Latin American way with authentic Latin American food, cocktails & hospitality
Iâd never been here and with the range of food and drink on the menu I had high hopes. We watched as staff stood around talking, massaging each other behind the bar, drinking their tea all while there were trays of drinks including ours sat on the bar waiting to be served, I was tempted to get up and get them myself. Not to mention the 10+ plates sat under the heat lamp waiting to be served and waiters just standing around walking past looking at them. When I finally got my cocktail, it was just a pre mixed drink and tasted like juice. I ordered the bahian coconut chicken, it sounded like it lots of flavour but it didnât, I could feel the spice but it didnât really have much more to it, it was rather bland. Didnât order dessert because we couldnât be bothered to sit around any longer. Wouldnât go back.

Whether you're checking out the latest exhibition in the Glow centre or doing a bit of shopping, Wahaca's Mexican street food dishes are the perfect stop off. Take a seat in one of the converted VW vans or seek refuge under the recycled bottle canopy of t
The general atmosphere was quite pleasant for a shopping mall environment and the two servers were courteous. The starter of Tapas was tasty and enjoyable so we decided to go for another dish of what consisted of fish. I've never of Plaice swimming off the shores of Mexico, perhaps the restaurant can blame the global warming. Presentation was excellent, a pity about the taste of the food. The fish was a lump of mush served on tortilla, as it entered our mouths it was directly spat out as it had a distinct flavour of being off. Complained to the server who went to see the manage, who I may say never put in an appearance nor the chef for that matter. The server returned and showed us a photo from the web of a plaice. Firstly why didn't they produce the fish as surely they bought more than one. NO, their fish was prepared by an outside source who minced it probably with a variety of fish and the restaurant simply scooped it out onto the tortilla. Who has ever heard of anyone putting a good quality flat white fish in a blender ?? The mushy fish was off. Anyway the server was apologetic and did not charge us for this particular dish.Hi Leslie Thanks for taking the time and leave us your review, We are very sorry your visit was not what you expected, We can assure you this is not how Wahaca operates, We normally get it right 99% of times. I assure you our white fish isn't blended into a blender and we only want the best for our customers. could you please email us at [email protected] to discuss this further.best regards Wahaca Team

What a wonderful little diner in the middle of Northfleet,we went there for lunch and had the most wonderful foodThe Diner is set out like an Original American Diner with lots of memorabilia around the wall and an old Jukebox in the corner constantly playing good old Rock 'n' Roll tunes,The staff are all very friendly, polite and professional giving you the impression that nothing was to much trouble for them, on the day we were there it was very busy but the all the staff stayed calm, controlled and handled the pressure with ease The food was 100% spot on I can not recommend this lovely little diner enough
